I wouldn't call the reverb HD. Its just the current best res wise. It center res is close to my 24" 1080p monitor from 2-3ft. But I can still see mura, SDE and chromatic abberation if i look for...

I can read both. But im not sure thats your issue. I use 160-180% steam PD. Also i think i still have the f18 mfd improvment mod installed from the CV1 days so that may be worth it for you.

I'd be pretty leery of using the "detail" argument. Lots of stuff is not modled right or at all. Esp with GPS guided munitions at the moment. And sensors.

Pixels per degree of fov. Vr has much more FOV than monitors. Then add the fact that you need to render 2 scenes vs just 1 for a monitor.

It is headset specific, some will show more or less. Because each pixel or subpixel is basically unique you calibrate each one to be "equal" So "mura" are basically defects in the pixel calibration...

You might be seeing the Mura effect. Its definitely there if you look for it, especially on white/light backgrounds. In DCS I never really see it though.
