Yes of course, but thankfully with DCS supporting Oculus directly only one layer of software is needed to run the Rift in DCS.

I have not gamed on monitor since getting Rift in Jan 2017, and now enjoying the Rift S very much.
For me the immersion outweighs the resolution shortcomings.

Getting another 1080 would be a waste of money.

You probably would not see much improvement going from GTX 1080 to RTX 2080, maybe if you went 2080 Ti route...

I upgraded from i7 4820k with DDR3 ram, to the 9900k with faster DDR4 ram, along with a new MB...
