Sorry to ask this but I can't find the link anywhere. I do remember a thread about obtaining the CD keys from Steam but they're not available anymore. Not listed at all. Can someone point me to the directions on how to do another way. Thanks

Have jumped into DCS with both feet. Flying the P-51 with all the add ons. Not a big computer guy but trying to learn. My discovered how to find frame rate and in a simple 1 v 1 dogfight it varied from 32-60. Is that good/bad? If the latter what's best to upgrade...graphics card or RAM? And think I need pedals....any suggestions on which ones?

New to DCS but loving it. I'm a WW2 guy playing via Steam. Wish I would've understood I could've had downloaded it direct and end up doing that. Through multiple threads it sounds like I need to be in Open Beta and not Stable. But it sounds like this changes constantly so is worth it to do all that only to have the OB converted to Stable a week later? Am I thinking about this right?

Thanks Rob I will....I just got TS up and running again so how do I find you guys? So when moving to the standalone version....what happens to the purchases I've already made? P-51, Normandy, Assets, and Bodney? I'm hoping my account would remain and show prior purchases? About the time Storm of War was winding down on CLOD I stopped playing. Used to fly with Gamecock, XE and others. I knew you read these forums bc I saw your name on other threads and I lurk on the Aces High page all the time. Like all the videos you post. It kept me in the loop with all the latest.

Why not Guadalcanal? A total land/sea/air environment in a condensed area. The amount of unique missions is staggering. Air to air, shipping attacks, surface engagements, carrier warfare, troop support, Washing Machine Charlie missions. I can't imagine a more varied environment that existed in WW2 The issue would be distance that Japanese units have to travel. Can't remember how far Rabaul was but maybe an in-flight spawn for Bettys? Maybe a closer airfield in the Russells? Thoughts?

Thanks Graf...just to clarify I have both Normandy and the assets pack. When I filtered the MP to normandy maps there was only one server and no one was in it.

Been hard at it with the P-51 and DCS. Absolutely love it. Have solved a mountain of issues one by one and that's been part of the fun. My current questions are: 1. Ventured into multiplayer last night but there was no ww2 action? Am I missing something? 2. Want to download the Charnwood campaign but none of the links work on the product page, including the 'module manager'. I'm Steam so not sure how to proceed. 3. I read where DCS is better apart from Steam. True? If so would I have to completely reinstall? And finally.....Rob if you're reading this Im an old 71st guy. Still read the website all the time. Your posts are what kept me interested during my time away. Thanks a ton. Parker

Old CLOD here and just started DCS. Got the P-51/Normandy/WW2 set-up and am loving it. I also bought the Bodney campaign but am having trouble with a few things: 1. I can't keep up with the AI P-51's in my flight. We have to climb out to 23k and no matter what I do I fall behind. I'm using the fuselage tanks first and the supercharger kicks in about 16 or so. Engine is set for about 2900 RPM's and 50 or so manifold. Even when I cheat and start out ahead of the other flight.....they leave me in the dust and it screws up the mission. Thoughts? 2. My kneeboard actions are assigned to a hot key but only appear half the time I want it to. Can't figure out why. 3. About half the time my cockpit pointer wont activate anything.....just sits there as a cross. I have to re-start my computer to make it work. Is that a bug or is my rig just struggling?
