  1. Rudder is mixed with roll controls so when ever the A/c rolls it vobbles because the rudder moves too.
  2. AOA and G limiter alarms are still constrained by F-15C factors. They keep going off even when Su-27 is completely in stable flight way within its AOA limits. The sounds are also US keep nagging in head even when not required.
  3. It has toe brakes. I saw them talking about the change from stick brake to toe brakes in the video about Su-27 development pragram.
  4. I blame corruption and poor maintenance on anything that happens in Indian Air Force. A few years back our Mig-21s were called flying coffins because they just fell out of the sky for nothing. It turned out that our corrupt defense minister bribed higher ranking officials for buying cheap and used parts from Russia and then in the after math they just blamed the Russian officials, I don't say Russian are clean but. There is one more case indicative of such scam we call it 'the bofors scam'. 200 bofors guns were bought from France and when scam was revealed they blamed the French company and black listed it, Indian minister was not even tried. Now out of 200 guns only 100 work and they scavenge other 100 for parts.
  5. You are running a little late bro. FC3 has been out almost a year ago and we discusses this issue in 2009 I guess, when FC2 was released. Long story short, accept what is there and enjoy and yes buy FC3 before its too late. :smilewink:
  6. SARH missile launch does trigger RWR. But I think Aim-9 can also be launch by just point thing the nose of the A/C towards target so that seeker itself locks on and in this way there is no RADAR lock warning.
  7. Or you can fly hugging the ground and then pop up at final moments to fire and then again hug the ground. Flying high to avoid being shot down is a thing of past.
  8. Fighting for a good cause is like f**king for virginity.
  9. Isn't it that .30 cal mean 3/10th of an inch not equal to 30mm cannon. I am just saying because .50 cal is more powerful then .30 cal but it is not anyway near 30mm cannon. You can see the difference in the attached image. That 30mm thing will blow Huey's tail away in one shot.
  10. If you are talking about aerodynamics or weight then T-50 is surely more aerodynamic then F-22 and is even lighter.
  11. I get that but except camo can you tell me physical difference between them?
  12. Oh I get get. T-50-2 was grounded because they painted a wrong camo on it.
  13. Why not?? Help me understand the difference. Please I would like to.
  14. I dont see any difference. In the last pic if you see it has been compressed vertically to look different. Any more evidence.
  15. F-22's nozzles are designed to suck in the surrounding air around the nozzles to make a kind of envelope and also cool the exhaust. By pass air is present in all engines and rather then F-22's nozzles T-50's nozzles better mix them as it is symmetric.
  16. Aim-9 kills are BVR?? am I missing something??? I like that hit probability of yours but even if A\c are flying at say 900Kmph so the closing rate is 1800Kmph and first missile is fired at say 40Kms and at 3800Kmph it takes 40-45 seconds to reach the target in the mean time the launching aircraft has traveled 11.25 Kms and both aircrafts are approaching each other so 22.5Kms but lets say they both have fire on each other and they only travel 15 Kms towards each other combined leaving them only 25Km apart and then they will just have a chance of one more volley before and some 50 more seconds until they are in WVR. So a flight of jets opposing 4 jets and each craft had only chance of firing 2 medium range missile totaling to 8 by fight of 4 jets. So if we consider your 12% hit probability only 1 jet from both side have been shot down and now they are just 10Kms apart or may be even less. So now there are 2 flights of 3 jets 10Kms apart, how long do you think will it take for these three jet to get into maneuvering dog fight. Guns or missiles they will need good maneuvering power. The scripted cobra in flaming cliffs is no where near the one that is performed by real jets and you are not going fly straight if there is a bandit behind you. If you do a cobra while performing a loop you will surely throw the opponent off. Sukhoi's are known to recover energy faster then other jet if you miss that part. Again if maneuverability was not so important against high-tech sensors and missiles F-22 would have been looking more like B-2 or may be YF-23 would have won.
  17. You are absolutely right but posting that video just made you enter same league of people whom you are bashing here..
  18. You should go and check the data on air to air engagements that happened after the missile of any kind were introduced. F-4 was built by someone having the same thinking as your but he was proved wrong. Guns were necessary. In later engagements after F-15 and F-16 were introduced most engagements were WVR and kills were made with IR guided missiles and yes that requires maneuverability.
  19. We saw dog fights way way way way way after days of piston engines were over. USAF might have chosen YF-23 over YF-22 if they were not thinking about dog fighting. But by that I dont say Su-35 is better then F-22.
  20. Not all hellfires are fire and forget only L version with millimeter wave RADAR. Russian ATGMs are faster and take less time to reach target then Hellfires.
  21. I tried 10 on 10 T-90VsM1A2 Abrams and BMP-3VsStryker MGS. In T-90 had the capability of ATGMs in earlier versions but not I think it is lost. BMP-3 would not fire after it had depleted its 100mm shells or close to enemy, completely opposite of what it should be. And shells from Russian armor tend to fall short of their target, when 10 T-90s or BMP-3s are firing at the enemy one can see that the shells are falling way short of their targets.
