Will there be a future update that allows VR control of the cyclic and collective I realise there is a lot of other items on the list but would love to tame this beast, like the others, in full VR Purchased today and was a little disappointed I couldn't just grab stick and go Am hoping the Kiowa has this feature

2.5.5 Vaicom 1.7.2 Voiceattack

I rolled back Voice attack to 1.7.2 in the end as 'currently' I dont appear to require whatever 1.7.3 brings to the table? Worth checking you have not done what I did which was assumed I had 1.7.3 installed as that was what resulted in me having issues. That said I didnt roll back Vaicom and it seems to be behaving happily with 1.7.2 :pilotfly: @hollywood same thing mate no joy but the 'take' command fills the gaps as a workaround.

thanks for the update and info Hollywood I rolled my install of VA back to 1.7.2 and all seems to be as it was before I borked my update :D good to hear its being worked on. I havent rolled back Vaicom so will see what happens when the next one comes along. With regards to the F10 option I followed the complete process and edited the commands after updating the ai commands collection. restarted VA and get the results I described E.G . imported command: Action A2G helo mission Edited subsequently to : Action Air to Ground helo I left the mission portion out as initially I wondered if it was a conflict with another command as it is recognising the phrase but not as an imported command and is requesting additional input? My own additional commands such as 'auto start up' 'gear up' 'uncage shkval' etc work seamlessly An example, debug shows this and performs the command. 10:16:21 - Specific recipient called, instant select mode = True 10:16:21 - Matched imported F10 menu command. 10:16:21 - Have result, identified as command : Group 10:16:21 - Have result, identified as importedmenus : Action Load 23 Man Group 10:16:21 - Captured sentence: action load 23 man group 10:16:21 - Recognized : 'action load 23 man group' When I try any of the actions for missions I get 10:16:59 - (awaiting additional input) 10:16:59 - Captured sentence: action air to ground helo 10:16:59 - Recognized : 'action air to ground helo' both commands were imported at the same time but something does seem to be broken in the keywords side of things as at the point of starting the script it lists all the imported commands but refuses to acknowledge that I have completed the final steps previously. I have rinsed and repeated the import menu process so many times now I can do it blindfold. I notice that you have the 'Take 1' commands for menu interaction and that will be the work around. Hmmm tbh still learning to fly solo so ordering wingmen is on 'the list' still it says you can do it so I guess the obvious ones are is easy communication enabled what radio selection option are you using multi or single? hope you get it fixed its a cool mod although as with all my experiences with all VA its always a little hit and miss. :cry:

its there under the options you need to enable the extended commands then you can order attack from north etc

Just for shiggles I have rolled back voice attack to 1.7.2 to see if that makes a difference? Worst case scenario I will do a fresh install of plugins as well but currently 1.7.2 is running On another topic Is there a 'depth' limit to the imported menu commands as I imported the menu selections from 'through the inferno' and some of the commands (generate crates and stuff) work but the commands to commence missions, whilst recognised, prompt with waiting for additional commands? It then seems to get its knickers in a bunch and reports that it requires the final steps (even though I have rinsed and repeated) this was the case prior to any of the update woes so totally unrelated just a question

I was getting that before the update. If you have selected the import f10 menus thing then it is asking you to import the commands into your profile. There does seem to be an issue for me where the prompt doesn't go away even after completing the steps and that was before the current update to VA or VAICOM couple of pages back here is a route to get rid of the message if you have selected the option in the plugin by accident and didn't actually want any additional keywords ?

Yep its happening to me again but it does seem to be pretty random as to when It has that error

Those of you having the CTD issue outlined in my earlier post, if you take the steps that get you to the point where you can launch VA with plugins disabled then also take the time to re save the profile you are using, as that seems to have stabilised things for me. I used the F10 menu commands option and re saved those but I suspect all you need to do is just open the profile you are using edit something minor and then undo it. Then apply and done and hopefully that will iron out any bugs Not promising it will fix it but outlining what seems to work for me. Thanks for the great tool and your patience Hollywood

agreed but it was a long day and when you support idiots all day it tends to rub off a bit when you come home :) thanks for your work I would just reinstall but not sure I have backed up my last profile changes :thumbup:so am holding off for a bit update: ok resolved the CTD by editing the user.config found in C:\Users"Your Name Here"\AppData\Local\VoiceAttack.com"VoiceAttack.exe_Url_bloody long string"\0.0.0.1\ Edited with notepad and searched for plugin then set True to False and allowed me to boot VA and export profile so will see what I can do from there Update: Ok backed up the profile but re-enabling the plugin caused it to crash again followed the suggestion of clearing out all profiles (delete Dat file) but then re-enabling plugin caused crash again. Guessing I will have to go down the uninstall current version re-install bla bla fun times thank fook for rum Hold that thought!! Just booted VA one more time to check before reinstall and after the first crash it seems to have stabilised will now import profile Update: Stone me We are back in business Thanks Hollywood DAT file thing might have been the solution :D happy after turkey day ! Update: Ah Shizzel Nitz nope after I shutdown and restarted VA it crashes at loading plugin again Steps so Far 1 edit user.config disable plugins from True to False 2 Delete VA .dat file 3 Launch VA reload profile enable plugins. 4 restart VA profile apparently works? 5 Close VA 6 Restart VA and VA crashes enabling plugins It would appear that the lack of a DAT file changes the order that the plugins are enabled but once the dat file is created plugins cause crash? Obvious lesson from all this is if the plugin advises you there is an update for VA version then ensure that you actually have that version installed first In my defence I didnt get a warning that there was a new version of VA and so assumed (yeah I know) that I was already on VA 1.7.3 Thats all she wrote...I am gona try uninstalling VA now but hopefully that information will be useful for someone Update: Uninstalled VA Re-installed Ran first time Second run CTD

Blast same problem as timb0b launched VA pre update to 1.7.3 notified of hotfix (accepted update - probably should have updated to latest VA first -doh) and then updated to 1.7.3 and now launching VA causes window to briefly load, states plugins enabled and then CTD before I can edit or change settings. checked logs and getting similar error as the one you have posted to the VA support forum...:joystick: Just a quick update as we posted at the same instant it seems. I am running as admin but still CTD am is there a config file I can turn off plugin support as that seems to be when it crashes and too quick for me to get to the gui config window

Ok so its more a case of turn on the debug mode and then search this thread selectively :music_whistling: Got there in the end and deleting the config and database sub folders in the Vaicom folder in VA resolved the issue. Still not clear what caused it but hey all good now. Good stuff

Firstly, Really enjoying this application and in conjunction with my own profile commands its been a fantastic help for my simple set up. I decided to push the envelope a bit though and set up the import F10 commands. It seemed to work fine until I started getting the error below and noticed its not loading the keywords? I can load them from the configuration panel but I cant nail what is causing it? Problems were reported during initialization. at System.Collections.Generic.Dictionary`2.get_Item(TKey key) at VAICOM.Server.SetImportedMenusAsCommands() at VAICOM.Core.Initialize(Object vaProxy) What is it telling me? I am thinking it might have been when I was training the speech engine and had to teach it to understand me saying JTAC and Humvee using the recording of my pronunciation? Any help would be appreciated:thumbup:
