  1. I hope it gets released tomorrow. If they planned on postponing it, I don't think they would wait until the release date to say to (for obvious reasons).
  2. VR performance loss here, as well. Even on simple missions with small amount of units.
  3. I can confirm this problem. My Viper always veers to the right during landing..which is problematic if you're air-braking (i.e. nose up) at the same time..
  4. ^^You're right, it's there. Apparently, I was looking under the wrong (Missiles) menu.. Thank you for the help! :)
  5. Just updated with the latest patch and I can't seem to find this weapon in the menu? And yes, I have "Ground Attack" role selected.
  6. Ok. this is how I do it: 1. I "designate" the target via TGP (i.e. "box" it) 2. I switch to Mav Display and uncage it 3. I switch back to TGP display and press TMS Up 4. The Mav seeker locks onto the TGP but it is still crossed and won't launch What am I doing wrong? :)

  8. After the last update I cant seem to launch Mavs (crossed out) and LGBs ("DUD"). Now, I assume the LGBs are on me doing something wron with the setup, bit I know for a fact I could, previously, launch Mavericks with no issues. Any help is apreciated..
  9. I was trying to engage (on multiple occasions) AI (Su-25T) from about 10 miles (and from higher altitude) and my missiles never hit. Apart from not having an Active Missile/Pitbull indicator, at those ranges, I assume the missile should already go active on its own..and it appears to be tracking..but it never hits the target. The only way I can knock the AI down is by sneaking behind them and launching from app. 5 miles range.. Am I doing something wrong here or is this something that needs to be fixed? Thanks.
  10. Well, I just hope the next update will allow for some basic AA features like Pitbull/Active/TTG indicators for AIM-120. But other than that, Viper looks very promising! :)
  11. There's a reason ED is "taking it slow" with Hornet. It's attention to details. It's a complicated system (like most other 4 gen fighter jets) and I'd rather they do it "slow" and right and not quick and wrong.
  12. I can confirm and this bug is still present. It's not related to VR as the key press produces the same result.
  13. I know this is a bugs forum so feel free to move (wasn't sure where else to post this). Anyway, does this setting affect the DCS image render quality at all OR does DCS uses its own setting regardless what we choose in the Oculus Display settings? Thanks.
  14. Maybe it's me but after an update the screen door effect seems to be increased on my Rift S..I checked the settings and everything is as it was supposed to be. The image quality decreased and it appears harder to read MFDs in my Hornet.. Anyone else having the same / similar issue?
  15. I would like my Hornet to shoot lasers and have the ability to cloak. The RL jet may not have these but ED might take the proactive approach and implement these before they actually become reality.
  16. They're for distance..but yeah, I use them as well. I mean, Rift (both CV1 and now S) are fine with glasses (at least for me). The resolution and "better clarity" mentioned by some folks with Rift S..I just don't see it..and if it's there..it's marginal..
  17. I got the Rift S and honestly didn't notice much of a difference in that department..but maybe I had bigger expectations?
  18. Apparently, I had the same issue with Target software for TM Warthog. Thanks for the tip, it works now!????
  19. ^^Once the TGP locked on to the target I did just that. The Mav seeker was uncaged and it slew directly onto the TGP diamond/locked on to the target. I even get a launch cue on the HUD (while holding the lase/trigger) but once I hit the weapon launch button, nothing happens...
  20. I am having the same issue. When I lase the target with the TGP and slew/lock the mawerick seeker to it, I press and hold the laser (trigger) untill I get a Mav Launch cue on the HUD. Problem is, when I press the launch button, Maverick won't launch (I still keep the trigger/laser pressed). It's driving me crazy to be honest...
  21. LSO is a bit on the shy side..he won't talk to just anyone..he needs to get to know you first..and than maybe, if there's chemistry in the air, he'll give you landing callouts.

  23. I'm actually more interested in the carried module/comms/animated crew than in the F-16C Module (which I pre-purchased).
  24. Would be great if there was an option (as weird as it may sound) to "disable" either one of the pits (when flying, say, in Singleplayer at least). The very detailed (double) cockpit may have something to do with the performance issues..
  25. I did set the HUD to landing mode but couldn't find this info. Could you please clarify?
