  1. Same here. DCS Standalone Beta is broken. Already updated it. No access to modules. No authorization. No possibility to enter login credentials. Please fix. Totally locked out with not even be able to fly in offline mode.
  2. Do you have a source for that? Never knew that developers could "not participate" at all in the miles program.
Datei gefunden.
  6. Through The Inferno Syria, Summer Heat, 7 a.m., near Damascus. I think it should have been no problem. But thank you for the reminder. Did not think about that. Roger, thanks. ---- Found it. I think the GWT was just way too high. And manual says per 200 lbs one should decrease fuel quantity by 1%. And GWT can be as high as 19.200 lbs or so. So there are scenarios where - at least if you calculate it - you shall decrease fuel quantity to 4%.
  7. Hey guys, after quite a while I yesterday hopped into the Apache again. I was a bit confused about it's performance. Had really big problems to hover after taking off with my default loadouts presets and even often lost power and crashed at 90-100% collective without doing crazy stuff. My question: Has there been a major performance decrease or a huge weight correction of the Apache? It feels pretty "fat" now. My solution was to deplete fuel to 30-40% and only use 2 racks of Hellfires. 100% and 2 racks of Hellfires were already too risky to fly and a full loadout was impossible to handle. I mean, of course I don't need 100% fuel and 50% are almost always enough but I was just wondering. When I first flew the Apache I did not have these problems. Whats the recommended takeoff weight? Thanks
  8. Hey guys, as in the title above: Yesterday I trained my skills in the Apache and I experienced something odd. I told George to search for a target and he found one. Told him to engage (set UI to green) but he might have been out of range or something. Anyway, I moved closer and I was pretty sure he was in range, I could even see the target visually in the TADS, also I had perfect shoot parameters (centered and not too high not too low). He just wouldn't fire, even when I told him to fire via command. He said "firing" but did not do anything. Then I switched to Guns and back to Hellfires and he immediately fired one and hit the target. Settings of Hellfire were not changed. I guess it was DIR. But it does not matter. I had this behaviour several times also with LOW and HIGH. When he did not want to fire I just switched to Guns and back and he did it. This behaviour was repeatable but seemed like a bug to me. Can anyone confirm this is happening? Maybe I did something wrong too. I'm still a Noob in the Apache. Thanks.
  9. Hi guys, I am playing on some 80ties servers and they forbid the AWW-13 because it was used from early 90ties. The AWW-9 though was used at least from the early 80ties with weapons like AGM-62 Walleye. I searched for differencies between AWW-13 and AWW-9 but couldn't find much. Wouldn't it be super easy to implement the AWW-9 too? Like... it's probably just a number and MAYBE a little bit less range or less good picture quality?? Would help me a lot. These server admins just look up when something was used and the see AWW-13 and say "that's after 80ties... sorry bro" ... wtf... I mean, with the AGM-62 Walleye it would basically just be the same thing I guess?! It's messed up because I can't properly use AGM-62 Walleyes in the 80ties but I want to. But there is no Data-Link-Pod for 80ties servers! Thanks a lot.
  10. I hope so too! We need ACLS. The Tomcat let's the (current) Hornet look very old when you see how it can land "hands free".
  11. Yeah exactly. This button for the Hornet is on/off. You can bind it to the Hotas. When on then your throttle is set to go from idle to full mil-power. When off your throttle is set to go from idle to full-afterburner. I think that's a great solution. Very good for economic fuel consumption. I still miss this. Currently use the nozzle dials too but sometimes it does not work 100% and when I check F2 external view the afterburner is mininal active and you can't hear it inside the cockpit nor see it in the nozzle dial. It's just not a perfect solution. I wanna fly at 100% mil-power and not at 97-103%.
  12. OMG thank you so much for that. "RAlt + #" I've searched everywhere for this solution. Tanker never responded WTF because I only used "#". THANK YOU
  13. Is there anything like that now? I own the F18 and it has a button... works well.
  14. m u l t i c r e w please :)
  15. Yeah and it would be so cool if one flies that thing and one (+ maybe filled crew with AI) controls the guns. :)
  16. Hello guys, just wanted to ask you when multi-crew will be released in the DCS openbeta? Last time I checked it was said that it is planned to be released in may 2020. Any news or current status? And whats your priority on that? Thank you! :)
  17. Sorry, I did not say I'm a steam user. There is a 20% sale for the standalone, that's correct. I need a sale for steam. Hope it will come.
  18. So... still no body? Cmon guys. Hornet has a body and it adds a lot of immersion. Bring it for the Tomcat.
  19. I would really buy the F14 if it was in sale. Maybe 20%? Please. :)
  20. True. The analog RWR display says there is just no contact.

Man HL:A is awesome. Will continue playing it today.
  22. The difference why you see the Mig-29 in the second scenario and not in the first scenario is perhaps easily explained. First scenario: You say you started cold. Probably your RWR is either completely disabled (it's not because we can see it active in the picture) or maybe it is enabled but it is not set to show incoming signals on the HUD. Check the "EW"-page when you start your plane this way and see if the "HUD"-option is ticked or not. Second scenario: You started airborne. The RWR is active and HUD-setting is also enabled. Thats why the Mig obviously shows up on the HUD. --- If its the same with both scenarios then I'm sorry. :D But that's what I guess. I think there is a difference in systems that are active when starting cold, from ramp or airborne. So that could explain why you can see the Mig in scenario 1 but not in scenario 2. Meaning you have not set everything up as it is already set up when starting airborne. And like DAZnBLAST said: Make sure to enable IFF and DataLink to get information from your AWACS about other aircrafts. PS: And always double check that all your systems are really enabled when starting airborne.
  23. Check your radar-elevation in the second case. You won't scan any target when the elevation is set to >99k ft. And yes, the HUD information comes from the RWR which detects radar beams from an Mig-29 which is somewhere ahead.
  24. This is still not fixed yet in march 2020. Everytime I forgot to drop the tanks and try to refuel I have to delete the tank, wait and pick it up again. Very annoying. PS: At least thats the case in the F/A-18C Hornet.
