It’s what my machine likes, I have no blurr- stutters and best clarity I can muster on this rig. I got this combination for the folks at Thuds discord. I quit MR months ago.

100% - 1 - CAS at 30% - framelocked at 55fps - Turbo Mode enabled not the new MR turbo.

Any one care to explain how to turn off cpu0 and then turn it back on. Disregard I found a how to video.

Seems that for me/my rig running OXR Turbo on and locking Frames to 55fps and CAS w/30% sharpening helps. Can't run 90fps with my liking of high graphics so I don't let fps roll ,I lock it down to 45-55fps.

I got a 30% clarity boost by simply cleaning my G2 lenses and my VR Optician lenses.

Virpil has become very popular. It took my gear about 5-6 weeks.

Rrgt ! I think the MK2 Ultra would be a better center stick with the F18 grip. Great product either way I'm going on 2 years now with the R3L/F16 grip and use it for only the Viper as it was intended to be, it's so realistic and wouldn't fly the viper with anything else.

How hard was it to change the castle cup ? Was it hard popping the original castle cup off? I would to upgrade it but afraid to break the sensor and having to ship to Spain.

I've heard to keep the OXRDT Custom Render Scale at 100% I guess it wouldn't hurt to try scaling it down. I'm running it at 100% -MR disabled - CAS and Frame locked @ 55fps in most cases. Runs and looks great but I would like to get just alittle more jimmering out.

If you open a DCS.exe it will run the opencomp If you run the DCS.exe --force_enable_VR --force_OpenXR it will run Native OXR

Drop your monitor refresh rate all the way down in my case I dropped to 120Hz to 50Hz , I kept my res. @ 3440x1440 at the moment. Then in OXRTK lock frames to 60. I did this and my 60hz flickering issue is just about gone I really don't see it now maybe slightly but I'm running very smooth at refresh rate. The only shimmering I have noticed was dropping altitude on a bandit while dogfighting. Please try and I curious if your still seeing the 60hz flickering issue that many experienced. Update: do not lock framerate to 60.

Alienware and AWCC folks, the AWCC library will not force the new DCS desktop shortcut with the --force_enable_VR --force_OpenXR you'll have use the desktop DCS shortcut to enable the native oxr. Although AWCC will still activate your thermal / overclock profiles. I think by adding DCS in the game library it only embeds the DCS.exe and not the --force_enable_VR --force_OpenXR command. I'm gtg !

I’m in the same situation Mark so don’t feel bad. I still think I’m not running in native OXR because last night the last thing I did was go into my log file and saw visualization opening in openvr.

Is it best to delete the old version then update to the new version of the oxrtk Disregard I saw the check for newer version. GtG. Thanks mbucchia for all you do for us.

Sometime you have to just power the G2 down wait a few seconds then power back on with that lovely little power button.

Same here but I think we have to manually update now. And maybe make a desktop short for DCS.updater

I think I just screwed something up because I deleted this OpenComposite folder on my Desktop now when I start DCS my VR does not start. I have the command line in my short "C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\bin\DCS.exe" --force_enable_VR --force_OPENXR and its been work fine all day. But after deleting that folder DCS only boots in 2D. I see nothing in the bin folder that says openxr.dll but do see an openvr_api.dll Deleting that OpenComposite folder corrupted something as my G2 and OXR is not recognize. This stuff is waaaay over my head. I did a slow repair twice with no luck. Would my log.file help to pin point my cause? Can anyone look at this log file to see why I'm having this issue. This was after a DCS slow repair. Thanks dcs.log

That's exactly what my shortcut icon had also the _updater. I deleted that shortcut then made another shortcut from the main DCS folder then added the --force_enable_VR --force_OpenXR
