Yes it does its not the greatest passthrough but it work for a quick peak. Mine worked with the Flashlight on/off command, I think there's a few other command words that can be used. Speech Reg. also workis with " Volume up and Volume Down.

What was pretty cool with the G2 and WMR if have speech Recognition enabled in WMR settings you can say “ Flashlight on “ for pass through to peek at your keyboard or find where you placed your coffee and drink and then say “ Flashlight off “ to shut it off or get back to normal. Welcome to the VR world

Not really gonna beat the crispness of a 2d monitor - closest is a Varjo Aero and prescription inserts. 2D is truly amazing in DCS that's where it truly shines. Sometimes I wonder "Sometimes" why I even switched to VR and mostly its because of the immersion of really sitting in a cockpit and feeling to G's that's not felt in 2D pancake mode.

I would recommend going through Thuds rig tuning. Rig tuning comes first.

Dang it !!! I paid $538.00 as a bundle package with my Aero last month. I messed up even getting the base stations from Varjo I was to excited. Steam has them for $149.00 each. That's where I screwed up at. But it's all good. I did get a index hand controlled but I haven't even used them, probably never will not needed with the Varjo's. Well not for DCS.

Yeah I noticed it too, but it's a very new release still in testing and a lot updates going forward. I'm sure everything will get ironed out as time goes by cause these guys rock and one of the best on the team.

Not a prob on my jet as I'm locked to 45 fps in Varjo Base and did as well with the G2 and OXRTK +Turbo mode. I've learn from some of the best VR tweakers that if you can't beat refresh rate lock her down to 45-55 fps or run to G2 at 60hz. I'm a firm believer that its not about the fps #'s it's more about finding that smooth sweet spot between clarity and performance/smoothness. It's a feeling thing for me.

Have you tried using the resolution override in the oxrtk maybe try setting it to 2800x2800 and use CAS for sharpening 20-40%.

Well its a early access, people were getting on them to release it release it all ready. There’s gonna be more things that ain’t right be for sure will get done.

It's actually not bad on my rig and hardware. Cpu OC @ 5.1Ghz and a slight undervolt on my gpu running around 1985Mhz - 62-65c - Vram temps are around 75-80c- I have my fps locked at 45fps in VB and using mbucchia's Varjo Foveated Rendering " my man ! ". Way better performance then the WMR & the G2. I think the map being new we're gonna get alittle stutters here and there that's just how it is right now, it is what it is and ain't what it ain't. The Sinai map is beautiful especially around sunset and perf on my end is expectable enough to enjoy. I buy all the maps mostly to support the developers and also for my own collection.
Also these guys are a new team member no need to bash them. I think they did a fantastic job.

Is this still needed for the Varjo Aero ? I’m new to the Aero and on the latest software version. I’m not seeing cross eyed or any distortion that stands out with the Aero in DCS. Just seeing if any new Varjo Aero users have done this or needed too.

On my list to try with my new Aero is seeing what kind of fps I get with my specs now unlocking the 45fps in VB. I plan to upgrade my system sometimes next year and thinking ahead purchasing the Aero. But yeah the Cairo and the pyramids location on the Sinai map at sunset is beautiful ! And performance is surprising pretty good in the contested cities at low altitude. You have a great rig for the Aero, if you get a chance to upgrade your rudder pedals I highly-highly recommend the Thrustmaster TRP rudder pedals. I know one thing at a time right

@MAThrasher " the screen freezes for about 1-2 seconds and then rapidly moves to catch up to where I am looking.
Did a quick test flight / BFM mission in the Sinia map over Cairo where the pyramids are located " Beautiful !!! " with the hmd mask both enabled and disabled and was experiencing this pause like image it gets alittle blurry and then re-focuses. It's frustrating ! it's like the DFR is getting confused where I'm looking especially in a dogfight where your head is on a swivel and fast movements throws something off. Does the changing of the HMD mask require a restart? Maybe I'll try that this evening.

Doesn’t seem that glass hurts the tracking in this picture of Varjo setup.

Dang it ! So now I’m worried about the one behind me it’s angled down but the glass framed picture might be an issue. It’s not pointing directly at it but still has me alittle worried I may have to move Stevie. I can see his rear left tracker could be an issue as it’s pointing at this glass frames.

I always take edmuss’s advice. I’m new to the Aero and also coming from a G2 not having that issue. They say about 6 feet up on the trackers. I have 1 up high in front of me / Aero and over my Stevie Ray Vaughan framed picture and 1 right behind same height 6 ft of me facing my small play area and front tracker and both angled down about 45 degrees.

That was the problem at that moment. I was able to d-load it yesterday evening and it is very stunning. I'll be looking for the pyramids today.

Yeah friendly will show up as a circle on the radar bandits are square. I gotta hit the manual up again because I'm not sure if all friendly have to have IFF enabled.
