This is exactly what’s going on with me after updating yesterday. Today I’ll try turning it off and if this doesn’t fix my repo / glassy / jelly looking picture I may have to switch back to SteamVR. I just don’t get it why all of a sudden I’m now in the VR funk club.

I have been using repo with great success but after the updates everything has went down hill and really bummed. I’m hoping things will smooth back out the more I fly. Maybe I’ll try turning off latest preview OXR runtime tomorrow to see if I get some kind of improvements.

I may have to try it because now I’m getting jelly affects everywhere after updating this morning even in the menus, looks more like the right side. So weird !

No, but I’m gonna get back on shortly I see what happened after these updates this morning because last night everything was just perfect and smooth. I may have to delete and rebuild the fxo and meta files. I’ll probably clear environment and recal the G2 also.

Don’t be afraid to slide all this to the right with that AW-3090. With OXR and Motion Repo running 30-45 fps is no prob. My R11/3090 does it very well, I don’t watch the numbers anymore. Everything is smooth and the clarity is the best it’s gonna get. I honestly don’t think I can get it any better so I just fly !

I’m having issues with loosing the mouse every once in awhile after last weekends update.

There was also a open composite update too. I updated both last Saturday with no issues. I personally disable any auto updates on my rig. I don’t like any searching for updates while I’m in the cockpit… lol !

Thermal controls come first before anything and any game and make sure your new rig has MSI Afterburner installed for the your GPU fans and thermal controls. A totally must have and it’s a free program.

Yup same here I quit folding it many many moons ago. I added this wonderful cable protection because of the tacky feeling the G2 cable is and it works like a charm. Only added about 4 ft. So the cable slides on my shoulders. I pull my G2 forward and up when removing it.

I just don’t care for How high and pointy the Monstertech chairs are. I’m looking for the perfect low profile back just alittle higher from the shoulders for VR as mostly flying in VR. I just haven’t found one the has the middle cut out for the center stick. May have to do a DYI chair. Well, buy a new one and cut the center myself then send it out to upholstery shop for leather covering.

Yeah I had this happen a few days ago also and actually didn’t know the G2 had this feature. I was told to say Flashlight on to enable it and Flashlight off to disable it. It’s actually pretty useful and I didn’t disable it in WMR speech recognition, I believe that’s where you can disable it but not sure what else it will disable either. My first kinda arcade sim was from Novalogic back in the early 90’s called Comanche Gold. And also play Janes Longbow2 … real sim ! So, my personal wish list would be a Comanche RAH-66. I was heart broken when the project was canned but man what a potent and deadly aircraft it would of been today.

Totally agree with the Marianna map but I tell ya OXR runs it a hellavah lot better then SVR. It could very well be the coconuts too.

Yup I have MSAA x2 +MFAA enabled. the only jelly affect I have is at low ground in F2 but when I move the scene alittle to the center it goes away. I'll try 2800 res. Thanks as always !

For me running MR is the only way I can get a smooth experience and with great clarity. I have tried without and I just can’t get rid of the jitters no matter what and how far I slide things around. I pretty much have the same settings config in OXR as I had in SVR and OXR is way better especially going from 45-30fps at times. But Mostly it’s a smooth 45fps. Also when I do have the fps counter displayed I rarely see it drop to 10fps. I’m done tweaking as I’m running as good as it’s gonna get , I believe.

Well I’m not sure really, I have that kinda luck when you buy something the new model comes out a few weeks later.

It took me 3 times so yeah it’s a hit and miss for sure. The third one had the 9 o’clock sticking and not returning but I decided to keep it and it seems to be working/returning to center after hours upon hours of use. Good Luck. It’s a fantastic feeling stick that is unmatched.

Wow thanks ! I don’t know why MSi afterburner doesn’t display with OXR. I use to like having it running with SVR and real-time tweaking with my G2 off my head and watching my monitor display with msi-afb. I’ve been trying to figure out why it doesn’t do that with OXR - the monitoring displays
