  1. Hi everyone, I cannot hear any voice that goes with the F-5E training missions. I can see the text but I like to hear the instructors voice along with it. Is it not available with this particular aircraft?
  2. Hello, Sorry to be so pedantic. I understand the magic does not need radar but it can be used with radar assist and when you have the triangle come up automatically using the weapons SystemCMD FWD you can kill the target. Only having to use Weapons SystemCMD FWD to lock on and fire a 530 without even having the radar switched on seems to go against the research manuals and videos I have reviewed but I am more than happy to take your information. I have not researched the dogfighting technique regarding radar but it seems to me that you would be using your radar at least ini
  3. Hi, Thanks for taking the time to respond to my query. So if I understand you correctly, it is possible to get a full lock on with Magic missiles without having to press the "Magic Slave" button and just using the "Weapons SystemCMD FWD" action. Regarding the 530, I achieved full lock on and retained the lock and killed the target without having the radar on and obviously only using the "Weapons SystemCMD FWD"button to achieve the kill. If this is possible then ok, but I thought that having the radar on and using the TDC was the correct way to perform a kill. Having th
  4. Hi everyone. I have been researching the methods to fire Magic and Super S530 missiles with radar. I found that my research does not coincide with the actual mechanics of firing the missiles. After selecting "Weapons SystemCMD FWD" I have found that the Magic will complete an initial lock on by itself which I understand but then it also automatically achieves full lock (Triangle appears)without me having to select:- "Magic Slave/AG Designate/INS Position Update" When using the Super S530 missile, again I select "Weapons SystemCMD FWD" and I achieve a full lock on the airc

  6. Mirage 2000-C control mapping Thanks Paradox, I will take another look.
  7. Hi Paradox Is there some keys which perform similar functions because now I am using "Wpn Sys Cmd Fwd" in place of "Special Modes Fwd" and "Wpn Sys Cmd Aft" in place of "Special Modes Aft" That still leaves "Target Unlock/Special Modes Deselect". Is this perhaps "NAV update/Magic Unlock" ??? Hope I am not making this thread confusing. Regards
  8. Hi all, I watched a You Tube vid recommending the following controls to be mapped. "Special Modes Fwd" and "Target unlock/Special Modes Deselect" I cannot find these controls when I search in my list, so perhaps they have been renamed? Any help appreciated. (I apologise if this is a duplicate post, as it's the second time I have tried to post this message)
  9. Hi Thanks for your suggestion.I checked the force tune setting as you suggested. Found in Options SU25-T Axis Commands. Selected Joystick Pitch FF Tune and gradually reduced the setting from 50 to 5 to eventually stop the shaking. For information, changing the setting on Pitch automatically changes it to the same setting for Roll and Rudder. Thanks for your time and suggestions.
  10. Hi, No it stayed the same when the simulation exited pause mode. I checked the force tune setting as suggested by AeriaGloria.
  11. Hi thanks for the reply. The stick shaking actually occurs immediately the training scenario loads and appears on the display. The aircraft is in pause mode whilst the trainer speaks. The aircraft is not even in motion. I am wondering if it is the microsoft force feedback stick and that particular aircraft which is the problem..
  12. Hi all, Anyone experience any problems with SU25-T training scenarios and the microsoft force feedback stick. All scenarios cause my stick to shake rapidly so much that I have to exit the scenario quickly! Only the start up and take off first scenario seems to work fine. My other DCS modules work fine with the joystick. If I disable force feedback in the DCS options then the other SU25-T scenarios load ok but obviously no force feedback. Any help appreciated.
  13. Hi Thanks very much for the reply. I checked outside the aircraft and saw the wheel chocks, felt like an idiot.
