  1. Thank you @Exorcet Appreciate the additional information Toni
  2. @dark_wood Do you happen to know how I can mark your answer as the solution? Toni
  3. Thank you dark_wood, much appreciated I will change the defaults country templates when creating the next new one so it is always there Again, my thanks Toni
  4. Hi All, I saw a mission that I downloaded and tried, that had a bunch of Toyotas etc on it that had the Country of 'Insurgents' Two issues, 1. I can't remember what mission it was that I downloaded 2. I can't find the Country of Insurgents when running on the Syria map and trying to place ground units Any assistance is gratefully appreciated and welcome Thank you Toni
  5. Fair enough, I guess that makes sense Thanks @cfrag Toni
  6. Hi All, As the title says, is it possible, obviously on a Night Mission, to, on a trigger, to shut down all ground lights? I mean Street Lights, building lights etc etc I am planning on perhaps working on a mission similar to the one in the Documentary 'Apache Warrior', which is obviously is a very very true story, and when they were approaching the outer city, the military shut down the power grid Just wondered whether that was possible to simulate such an event? Thanks Toni
  7. Hi @No1sonuk For the purposes of getting information and the DCS Connection and getting information from the AH-64D, that bit works no matter which module you are connecting to. The whole 'Control Reference' has not been updated for a while I think, and as yet, I have not seen the AH-64D appear, which is why the new version has come out, which as I understand it is more for 'Home Cockpit' creators Might be wrong on that last bit Toni
  8. Question - How do I mark my post as the solution, or at least the solution to my particular problem? Thanks Toni
  9. No, you can. As previously mentioned, it was being caused by my Saved Games not being in their original locations and on OneDrive instead Toni
  10. @Sarge55 Excellent way of describing each mission start routine
  11. Problem Solved - I put my saved games back to its original location rather than the OneDrive location it had been moved to Problem Resolved Toni
  12. @Floyd1212I understand what you mean, unfortunately I can't shrink my neck any lower into my torso than I am already when trying to boresight, plus as mentioned by @Havner you need to be sort of direct LOS in to the boresight in order to be able to see the rings, which I can't do with my start height in the seat I have yet to download the new OpenBeta, as since Stable went to .22211, I have been using that. I will download the OpenBeta tonight shortly when I go to bed @Havner I do have one question, is snap view a toggle, or do you need hold the assigned keys down for the duration of wanting to use the view? I guess also, is there a way to save your default start height, zoom etc etc, so that every time I start in the Pilot Seat of the AH-64D, I am at a consistent start height etc etc from mission to mission? Thank you all for your time and contributions to this thread Toni
  13. Hi All, Whenever I start a mission, as Pilot, in order to be able to BoreSight the IHADSS, I have to hold down the 'RCTRL+RSHIFT+NumPad 2' for a count of 3, to lower the seat, I then complete the BoreSight, and then have to repeat the seat height raise for a 2 to 3 count so I can get a bulk of the window in my visual frame of reference, with only the EUFD in view at the bottom of the frame, unless of course I look down (TrackIR) Questions 1. Is this unique to me, or standard practice for all aviators in the AH-64D? 2. If not standard practice, what is wrong with my setup, and how do I correct it. Do I need to change my default view or something, and if so, how? Thank you Toni
  14. I need to be able to get my DCS-BIOS (HUB) to be able to connect to the SIM so that I can use the LUA console in order to be able to further enhance my StreamDeck XL Profile. StreamDeck works fine when using the prescribed method and addition of the necessary data within the Export.lua, and everything Command and Device ID's. It is just not being able to connect so I can use the LUA Console, and just getting the 'could not send snippet to DCS within 1 second.' I have been working with Bailey, but as yet, everything suggested has not worked. I have even gone down the DCS BIOS Panel Fork direction, but same deal. From what I have read, the panel fork edition is a lot harder to setup and connect anyway, and should not be needed in my situation anyway I get it no matter whether I run DCS Stable (2.7.11.22211) or DCS OpenBeta (2.7.11.22211) I have confirmed that the contents of the Export.lua are correct. I have tried as suggested by Bailey, only have the one line in the export.lua that is suggested by the LUA console in DCS BIOS BIOS = {}; BIOS.LuaScriptDir = [[D:\Program Files\Games\DCS-BIOS\dcs-lua\]]; BIOS.PluginDir = [[C:\Users\ToniCarrera\AppData\Roaming/DCS-BIOS/Plugins\]]; if lfs.attributes(BIOS.LuaScriptDir..[[BIOS.lua]]) ~= nil then dofile(BIOS.LuaScriptDir..[[BIOS.lua]]) end If in anyway relevant, although it probably isn't. it only shows DCS OpenBeta in DCS Connection part of DCS BIOS I have tried with FireWall on, off, TCP Port 5010 Exempt, Defender On/Off, blah blah. It just seems nothing I do, makes a difference I have also tried in DCS with F/A-18C and AH-64D, somehow thinking it would make a difference, which obviously it didn't I can interface with F/A-18C through the Control Reference: FA-18C_hornet on the relevant screen e.g. Please can someone assist me with trying to get me connected to via 'DCS Connection' because i need it to be able to source and locate what I wish to do what I want to do in my next release of my SD profile, which goes above the normal Command/Device/DCS ID's Thank you Toni
  15. Hi All, I only use one, personalized skin for all my missions. Is there a way I can set the skin that I want to use as the default one so that, surprisingly, it is the default Thank you Toni
  16. I love the Supercar reference, so so true
  17. Hi All, Just released a quick update version that rectifies an issue that must have been there since version b where the Pilot-->--Front-->--Fire Res was incorrectly mapped to Fire Test 2 So Version v01j is available at https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3321515/ Bye for now Toni
  18. Hi All, I have released the latest Pilot and now CPG profile. Version v01i (22/04/2022) can be located and downloaded from https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3321515/ Primarily, it is the addition under the CMWS Group, there is a display button that shows the amount of Chaff & Flares remaining. Also, slight changes to the '\' menu access. It is now accessible from the Home Screen, again, only one step earlier access than having to go in to Radio group, which it is also still in I hope this meets with some approval, but I am more than willing to adapt it should people have other organisational / grouping suggestions Thank you Toni
  19. Hi @lights I run a lower spec than that with pretty high detail in DCS, and I do not really see any performance hit Wish I had your hardware Toni
  20. @Cowboy10uk Thank you very much for clarifying all that for me. I am glad I can use mine for the Apache when I get a bigger desk, and can move my monitors further away from myself I am not on that BookFaceSpaceTube thing, not a social person. I will see if I can access it without having to create an account Again, I thank you for responding to my enquiry Toni
  21. Question on the setup images above, which are awesome by the way Are you using your screens and cougars for use in the Apache, or F/A-18C/? I am just wondering whether I could use my same setup, albeit only two screens and cougars, whether I could program the brightness and other rockers, as the additional buttons on the Apache e.g. six on all sides Toni Never having one go wrong before is B*******it, on my first delivery, one of mine was faulty, which I think is what prompted me to start this thread in the first place Do these people really think that we do not talk to each other As you say, unacceptable in this day and age Toni
