Hi all. Long time. DCS looks amazing. Getting back into it. But first... I need to drop some chash. My Motherboard and cpu are rather old. about 5 years. So I looking to upgrade the motherboard and cpu now. So it will last another 5 years. I have been looking at Ryzen 9 3900x . Its a bit expensive , what is a good alternative? Is that a good buy. My budget is a bit limited. I am looking at around 6-800 USD. For motherboard and cpu. This is what I am thinking. Motherboard : X570 ,X470 or B450. CPU: ? GPU : ? Please help! :)

Hi all. I am thinking about buying a gaming laptop, the Acer Predator Triton 500 with RTX2060 6GB gfx card. Would that be able to run DCS at a good framerate? What could i expect from this with a vr headset? All the best

I have to say tough, I am disappointed by the size. You can't build on how you want your final city to look.Not if you want to build a city the size of London. You can either build the suburbs or the city center.. not both. :/ ( a square of the city center that is :p )

like others have mentioned already, there is no point in criticizing the JTAC, he did the best he could. Imagine worring about your guys, the "enemy" and hell raining down from above. Whats the point to criticizing something like that, the situation must have been extremely chaotic. That's my point. :)

In open terrain like that I would go a bit higher, since there is no terrain to hide in there is no point really to be that low. Other than that, I would say try to get a bit closer before releasing your missiles. Also don't be afraid to merge with the bandit instead of running away. If you are not in a position to shoot at the bandit then you are in a very bad position indeed. other than that, shooting down a chopper is not half bad ;)
