  1. B-52 may be too complicated to code and it had too numerous crew, too big radius, too monotonous mission, too toned performance. But smaller, more maneuverable shorter range supersonic 3-crew B-58 or 2-crew F-111 absoutely yes! Both were very work intensive for the crew and both were technological marvels of their respective eras, especially when it comes to their avionics, but both offered also absolutely exciting flight performance.
  2. Warsaw Pact / Soviet from Europe '80s and Soviet one from Afganistan are the most important for me.
  3. After all this ~60 years Draken still looks futuristic.
  4. That's the part i like the least to be honest... MFD, GPS navigation, guided modern weapons = close to no pilot skill involved. No need to even go close to the target. Automation is doing everything. When Soviet Su-25A is a jet powered armored IL-2 Sturmovik with pilot's skill doing all the job, navigating, dodging AAA, aiming dumb weapon, landing damaged aircraft. The art of war.
  5. The first classic Su-25A was produced in hundreds and used in extensively in real combat. What is more it's short range manual dumb weapon aiming, like gun pods, rockets, bombs and maneuvering under enemy fire is adding a lot compared with long range guided modern missiles which employment doesn't include pilot skill. Similar situation with classic A-10A.
  6. F-13 the was the lightest, the most maneuverable and with the best cockpit visibility having completely different bubble canopy. My choice as well. Adding to that it was the best in relation to it's opponents in late 1950s early 1960s when later variants became somewhat obsolete and surpassed by more modern technology in 1970s.
  7. 1980s divided Germany is the map i'm waiting for the most.
  8. A agree SWIP was just a curiosity, no combat history, very small amount of A-6E was even converted to SWIP and they were decomissioned literally after a few years. Wings were badly used so they tried to repleced them with composite wings, byt they were stiffer and this made fuselage cracking instead. And among SWIP there were also different standards of equipement. If i would have a choice i would like TRAM which was used in all 1980-1991 combat operations.
  9. If it is unrealistic it should be removed or being disabled on more ambitious servers.
  10. Classic F-14A from 1970s with high visibility camo. Possibly with glove vanes & IR seeker instead of TCS.
