All my controls, all my modules, and all my maps work great in Single Player and mostly in Multiplayer, except for the F/A18C. There are no problems in Single Player, but intermittently in Multiplayer, I lose my down pitch range. Watching in F2, full forward deflection on the stick hardly shows any movement in the vertical stabilizers, while a centered stick moves the stabilizers in full climb. Again, (with the exception of buffering in 2.9) everything works great in Single Player, and the controls test out fine in Microsoft and SimAppPro, but forward deflection is not effective in-game. Has anyone else had a similar problem? I’m using just in game chat, no SRS. I would really like to attack with the Apache while my buddy covers me in an F18, but not being able to chat ruins it.

My flying buddy and I can chat with activated microphones while flying the F18C, or one of us in the F18C and one in A10C II, or F16. We can not communicate if he is in an F18C and I’m in the Apache, or F15E. We do not use PTT or Dynamic Radio, so radio frequencies should not matter. What are we doing wrong?

Thanks for the quick reply. I’m a pretty fair F18 sim pilot, but short on Internet protocol. Are you saying I can “Connect by IP” even though it’s the same IP address as the player hosting the mission?

When the F15E is released, I want to be able to fly with a second player on a second PC in my house. Other than downloading a second installation of DCS, and purchasing F15E twice, what steps do I need to take for us to connect by private IP address while using the same IP address? There must be some of you that have multiple setups. Thanks in advance.

DCS World modules are very difficult to learn, and even more difficult for some than others. In Multiplayer, “Connect By IP” private multiplayer, I would like to be able to use ACTIVE PAUSE to instruct or take instruction from or to another sim pilot. Either that or get their video in my headset.

I’ve read a lot of complaints about Pimax and problems with blurriness and uncoordinated binocular vision. I too have been extremely unhappy with my purchase but I have a fix that works for me and hopefully it works for you. My IPD is 60-61, so I’ve really had a tough time adjusting the clarity and binocular vision of my Pimax 8KX for the 7 months I have owned it. At one point I gave up and went back to my trusty Quest 2, great view, great comfort, nice for DCS Hornet. At last, through endless experimentation, I figured out what works for me. I set the mechanical wheel adjustment to 60, then what ever direction I set in the software IPD adjustment for one eye (minus or plus) I set the other eye opposite. Since it seems the right eye is way out right, I adjust the right eye minus to move it left - and the left eye plus. Currently I have it set at -3.00 for the right eye, and +3.00 for the left eye. Using Pimax Experience text in front of me to adjust for clarity, I started at left zero and right zero, and increased them in opposite directions 0,1mm at a time each side, until my vision was as clear and sharp as possible, and binocular separation was virtually invisible. I still have minor tweaks to do, like perfect vertical, but this is fantastic now. Like I said, it works for me and now my Pimax 8KX is everything I had hoped it would be.

I have never been able to use Saitek/Logitech software. My bindings do not work in the game, nor can I use the keyboard for anything other than ESC, F1 and F2. Mode selection is impossible. Only in-game bindings work, mostly. I have deleted input files, Saved Games etc. and still nothing. I’ve tried for a decade but no joy.

Use a swivel chair. You can rotate in the chair all the way around to see the tail if you have a rear sensor.

Have you solved your problem? Some of my keyboard functions work but most don’t. Key combinations don’t work, and especially the bindings I have made over and over on my new x56.

Boy, you’re not kidding. Any success with this, or some other answer?

I have this problem with my x56. The buttons show well in test, but the keyboard will not pass on the x56 commands. Do you still have this problem? I do not have an in game Keyboard column.
