Yes I just lost 10min of my life I wont get back again.

I have put this off for a few years, but now that I'm back flying the Hornet it was time. Cleaned it up and found way too many stress cracks in the central load ring. Fitted a new nylon impact ring. greased re-soldered & assembled. Feels much better but I don't know how long till it breaks up. Pics arn't good, need a better phone , or a steady hand.

I remember watching some slow motion video of a A-10 gun pass on a building on the side of a hill some years ago, the footage was taken from across the gully about level with the target by friendly combatants. It was more then single story target side. As the rounds began to arrive there was greater then 3meters separation for outliers, as the rounds continued to arrive it became difficult to form an assessment of what might be have fallen in the 80% zone but once the dust cleared there wasn't much left of that face of the construction. This discussion goes back the Lomac days, for me culminated with a Mod we did for Falcon4 AF (801st Skunkworks) where I did the data edits for the A-10, and might continue here till the cows come in. I can't see any change in the near future. I loved the A-10c but not as much as I enjoyed the Black Shark with its Vikhrs and mighty 30mm Shipunov 2A42 cannon. Now its the F-18c...........Have fun.

Hi Relearning how to land the Hornet with the Training tutorials. After gear down, flaps set & trim nose up I lose sight of the hud AOA indicator. It seem to appear occasionally as I seesaw a tad. Is this a known problem or is it just me. Thanks

I have tried RWR and RWR_ALR67 but with out success. Do I need to setup a Test.miz with a few radiators to get ANY display graphics to be rendered ? Thanks....................And I had do a considerable search.

Hi, whats Up Doc ! Sorry I couldn't resist. I believe deactivation would be the safe way, also don't worry to much about using up reactivation. After almost 10 years of doing regular OS reinstall I have never got myself in trouble. I always save a copy of my entire C:\user"username" folder so I can pick out all those important files for latter use. So yes after doing your reinstall of all apps just replace or rename the new unmodded or not yet created profiles, miz, lua, emails etc, with your backups. Good luck , you will like the new HD, a breath of fresh wind.

10, 100, 80 & 50 Here Be aware that using the mini stick for Mavs is problematic.

Mine went years ago and like your self improvised replacement shoes from cloth/PVC tape. The whole mechanism was designed by a 11 year old arts student.

Its the mini stick on the TM Hog that is the culprit here. Hat switch is fine , even the arrow keys work But as soon as I touch the mini stick the mavG wants too look a the skyward @ my 11oclock.

My Friend is having trouble with SRS Client recognizing the OpenBeta , it connects all the way with stable. But with beta he gets Server & VIOP icons green but game stays black. Is this a known problem ??? Thanks

Thanks gents for the replies, I will try again in the morning. I did update OB earlier tonight. And used the F-18 tab. A crisp winters morning might clear some of the cobwebs.

Hi Avantar Let me first say thanks for you initiative, My query is in regard to using a joystick & throttle as a "combined device" as does Target. The reason I ask is that only the first HID USB device's POV hat is recognized, so with out target the POV on the throttle is ignored. Thanks for your reply........Shad
