  1. Outstanding work!!! Any chance to get a repaint of the williys jeep to match the late french camo? Wished to get this:
  2. You should go and play the lottery! Honestly: Me (or anybody else I know having and using a Pimax headset) has ever experienced something like you claiming to. I had one issue with my 8kx two years ago in regards of tracking. Opened a ticket--> received support within 12 hrs--> problem solved. BTW: My 8kx has been in use every (!) day for a couple of years and I never faced serious issues.
  3. Amazing!!! Absolutely sweet! Hell of a job. Have you been able to do some adjustments to the pointers in the instruments yet? To make em look more realistic? (See one of my earlier posts) Cheers!
  4. Hi Brian, according to your logfile there are multiple files are causing trouble: Those for example (besides others) 2024-03-04 22:42:37.285 ERROR Scripting (Main): DUPLICATE not allowed :weapons.shells.SVINGGR86Z, from C:\Users\brian\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Mods/tech/Grkpbv 90/Database/Vehicles/Grkpbv90.lua 2024-03-04 22:42:37.285 ERROR Scripting (Main): plugin: GRKPBV90 unit replace Grkpbv90 not allowed 2024-03-04 22:42:37.287 ERROR ED_SOUND (Main): can't open proto file "/sounds/52/sdef/helicopterfan.sdef" 2024-03-04 22:42:37.287 ERROR ED_SOUND (Main): failed to load sdef HelicopterFan referenced in /sounds/52/sdef/rotor.sdef 2024-03-04 22:42:37.292 INFO SOUND (Main): Added sound path: C:\Users\brian\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Mods/tech/HKP15B/Sounds 2024-03-04 22:42:37.299 ERROR Scripting (Main): plugin: HKP15B unit replace HKP15B not allowed So I assume those must be CH military assets as well as the civil asset pack. Both are known to cause some conflicts at a point. I'd propose to load the latest version and/ or test with disabling those mods to find out. Cheers
  5. Hey all. I've read your comments in regards of turning or updating the Huey into a different thing (UH-1N/ 212 or even a UH-1Y). Most of you comprehend that this would require a complete new model within DCS. So I guess not. Sharing the opinion of my fellow (rl) Huey aviators I'm really surprised of how accurate the largest part of the flight model is. Despite its age it is still one if the most accurate modules within DCS having a HUGE community of fans... at least what I am witnessing on the most frequented MP servers. Observed that plenty of FC modules have featured a graphical update within the last update of DCS one has to ask the question if the Huey hasn't deserved the same. At least I do. There are still plenty of flaws (i.e. interior 3D model, exterior lighting.... as to mention e few) and I'm sure most of us would like to see a major upgrade in this. I've prepared a list of the discrepancies between the rl Huey and the DCS module, getting ready to be forwarded to ED staff. The iconic Huey surely deserves to receive a major update even if there are plenty of other projects in the DCS pipeline of an even more financial attractive perspective for ED. Nevertheless I think HUEYLOVE has to be pushed forward to bring it onto the same level as the rest of the fantastic helicopter modules ED has published so far. CHEERS
  6. Absolutely stunning! Brilliant! Mindblowing! EXCEPT: Please remove the cable cutters on the Nam birds! Keep up the stunning work!
  7. It might take a while (sometimes several minutes) to start since it has to create all the filelinks upon a startup. Even worse after updates had been conducted. So just be patient and check the taskmanager if the program is using resources. Cheers
  8. THAT! ... was the worst experience EVER in regards of a use with the buttkicker! Sorry, but they failed here! IMPO I'd strongly advice to use Andre's excellent sim shaker software when using a haptical feedback system in conjunction with DCS. I made my experiences with audio splitters (like voicemeter). They work well upon getting settings straight but since this is a volume/ sound repeater they just send audio and no .lua feedbacks like landing bumps, flap traveling movements etc. Andre did a great job getting the .lua files extracted and connected with his software and you have plenty possibilities of adjusting certain effects into your buttkicker system. Cheers
  9. Guys check this out! This is in the works by 8ball:
  10. Like in almost every helicopter ( at least the ones I have flown) there's no such thing as a re-centering. It will basicly stay in the position where you bring it to. So a spring loaded joystick is pretty useless and unrealistic when it comes to fly helicopters. In regards of the "stickfeel": As spoken for the Huey, it's pretty soft. You feel a marginal counterpressure when starting the movement. Once over it the stick moves very smooth until you stop it at any position. You could flick the stick with a finger at any position and the stick would wander through up to it's mechanical stop. In other helicopters featuring electro-mechanical trimming systems the feel is a little different. The haptical mechanical feedback from the rotorsystem is less present but that might be a subjective impression. Cheers
  11. Sweet! It sure looks like a gem! Another remark: The cable cutters (aka WSPS "Wire Strike Protection System") were not present on machines serving during Vietnam. Those wer fitted later in the early 80s. Cheers!
