Hi all, I currently have 2.5.6 installed, not the open beta. Can I install the open beta 2.7 in parallel or would it be wise to remove the 2.5.6 version first? Thanks for a quick heads up. Regards Chris

Well, you say that it is not worth the upgrade due to the rather low performance increase of 15% but you recommend to increase the OC from 4.4 to 5.0GHz, which is exactly the same range (14% increase), yet not every 2700K is capable of running at 5.0GHz and the so called "proper cooling" would basically mean a custom water cooling solution which is A) not that easy to install and B) not that cheap.

Now I managed my first splash online and then my DCS crashed. What a pity. Is there anywhere I can check if I really got one?

Ok, makes sense, thanks for the heads up. Another stupid beginner question: my Mig 29 always shows the same image I have on the hud also on the little screen where I have the radar image in the Su 27, how can I change this?

Stupid beginner question: in my key assignment menue, I can select from three different Mig 29, however, all I have been sitting in so far ingame was the Mig 29A. There are key assignments for a Mig 29S and a Mig 29G, but how can I fly them? And why the heck I have to adjust my "HOTAS" assignments three times for the same aircraft?

Then something else I would like to clarify: after I shot down some planes, I landed my Su-27 successfully back on Krasnodar Center, I taxied back to the parking position, turned off everything for refuel and new ammo and bang, I was back on the "select role" tab. So, it is not intended to refuel and reload on the ground?

Ok, got it working now in a folder different from those with the campaign files in it. Great work. Last question: if I select F4 for an easy Air to Air mission, I then can only continue like this? I was not able to select a "hard" air to air mission afterwards, only the option "another easy air to air mission" was available.

Does it matter, where I put those files? I did simply put them into the same folder the .miz files of the FC3 campaigns were located.

Ehm, the STEAM version of DCS World is currently 1.5.5, which is exactly the same as the standalone version if I am not completely mistaken?

I am a little bit ashamed by asking this, but how do I install this "endless mission" properly? I simply copied the files into the FC3 mission and campaign folder, but this was obviously wrong, as I can not select the mission inside DCS. I use the STEAM version. Any help appreciated...

Guys, I just spent some minutes online on the BlueFlag Server Wednesday and I totally failed. I am sorry for this, I should have chosen a training server for my first online experience. Just that you know, this was not on purpose...

Well, again an issue, this time with the Su-33 mission 3. I shoot down what I can, but so far each time I ran this mission (about 5 times already...), one of those F-14 somehow is buggy, it floats about 2m above sea level some 4nm away from the vessel and is indestroyable. All other planes are eliminated, the Su-25 destroyed all ground targets and yet the mission is a failure. Why?

Ok, thanks for clarification. I will now try to eliminate those F-16 before I call the Su-25 to start their attack. Maybe this was the issue. However, if the F-16 were busy with the Su-25, they were easy targets ;-) BTW: I use the STEAM version of DCS World, might be that some updates are delayed there?
