Usally its the CTAf frequency and you'd press the PTT 3, 5, or 7 times depending on lighing systems and how bright you want it -

been playing VR for the last 3 months and after the update maybe 2 days ago the F-14 has become unplayable in VR. The jester menu is larger and half covered/unreadable. i play in 4k res.

this is how every release date has been since 2013. and yes you need the open beta to play anf fly any beta aircraft/ early access
