Ich bin Neu bei SRF und habe bisher Warbirds lediglich aus Verlegenheit geflogen, wenn immer mal der Sinn danach stand. Die Probleme traten keineswegs erste beim Luftkampf ein oder gar bei Bodenangriffen. Nein, oftmals klappte der Start mit Ach und Krach und an eine saubere Landung war schon gar nicht zu denken. Na ja und Feindkontakt endete meist gar nicht immer damit abgeschossen zu werden, sondern in irgendeinem Baum oder mit der Nase im Boden. Todesspirale soll eines der Stichwörter sein. Hier bei SRF lerne ich gerade das saubere Fliegen mittels der TF 51. Das ganze findet allerdings unter der Schirmherrschaft der OFS statt. Natürlich läuft die gesamte Schulung über Open Flight Scool und dessen hervorrande Plattform, die mittels ihrer Workshops den gesamten Bereich der virtuellen Fliegerei abbildet und das nicht nur auf DCS bezogen. Vor allem stellt uns auch OFS tolle Trainingsserver. Das darf man nicht unterschlagen. Was aber nicht heißen soll, das in der Gemeinschaft erst einmal Theorie und Praxis gepaukt werden muß und eine Qualifikation zum Gefechtsflug berechtigt. Mitnichten!!! Hier spielt der Spaß an dem, was mir machen im Vordergrund. Aber natürlich ist das Fliegen später in einem Verband vielleicht sogar in einer Kunstflugstaffel das Ziel. Aber bis dahin ist es noch ein bestimmt lustiger Weg. Bereits nach der ersten Stunde mit dem Fluglehrer, spürt man dass hier wirklich das Fliegen einem beigebracht wird. Jeder der Interesse hat, sollte keine Angst haben auch mit null Vorkenntnissen an den Start zu gehen. Hier wird einem super geholfen und man wird durchgehend motioviert ohne Frust etwas zu erreichen. Man bietet hier eine tolle Gemeinschaft. Auch die selbst erstellten Unterlagen und Lernhilfen, sowie der Erfahrungsaustausch unter den Piloten ist ne Wucht. Das gilt für die OFS wie auch in der SRF, wo das gelernte im Gefecht vertieft wird und weiterführende Trainings im Verband durchgeführt werden. Ganz nebenbei wird auf dem hervorragenden SOW (Storm of War) Server geflogen, der einem mitten in die Luftschlacht über die Normandie schleudert unter historisch belegten Missionen einem zum Schwitzen bringt. Gebt euch nen Ruck und schaut euch das ganze mal an. Wem das zunächst im Kampf Player gegen Play ein wenig zu fordernd erscheint, der kann vor allem auf den Trainingsservern der OFS sehr gut allein oder oder zusammen mit anderen Mitstreitern in Ruhe trainieren. Alle Flugmodelle stehen dort zur Verfügung und können ausgiebig auch mit Waffen trainiert werden. NightStalker (der eigentlich Rotorwingenthusiast ist)

Sorry Blackpixxel i subscripe the split in more than one object and a range about a few kilometer between them. But it is not correct, that the FPS dropped only by the MIniguns of the Huey. It is the same with the russian Gunpods in burst mode. We know that since a long time. The problem is the gameengine. But you a right in case the Huey with the autogunner makes it a little bit more laggy. Every time somebody is firing the engine have to check on the ground and in the air, what was hit or damaged. I would say every engine like DCS or Arma 3 with a real ballistic had that same problem.

We fly a few hour and a lot of things works fine. Yeah there are some issue with the weapon system but that is a big step forward. Good work and go ahead with it.

same here ordered 24.7. Module is up but greyed out and i shall pay for it

Good Morning in Europe. I have a problem using the I-16. After buying the Module i can not fly it. I only can use it as AI Plane in the Editor. The Installation seems correct because it is listed in the installed Modules. There is now errormessage or a Message about not activated. Is it a Problem of the last Open Beta Update from yesterday? When i use the Quick Options the setup the plane in the air or on the ground there is no plane visible or an error Message. greetings Andi
