No word on it just yet. It is driving me mad. I so want to order DK2 but until i can get DK1 working with DCS or hear that DK2 works with AMD cards i dont think i will. Black Shark is one of the main reasons i want the Rift. Please help us.....

has anyone fixed the black screen issue with AMD cards yet? i have a R-290 and can start Black Shark but only get a black screen once the game starts. i can hear it and if i move the oculus around i can hear the movement. i.e. it sounds like i am looking around in game. i get the black screen on the oculus and main monitor. i reinstalled my OS, windows 8.1 and also DCS but still no change. I have a friend who is using Windows 7 and he also has the same issue. Any help would be great as i so want to get in the air with the Oculus.

No Radar is a good thing. The idea was to have a squad of KA-50s with one KA-52. The Ka-52 has the radar and uplinks to AWAC etc.It then sends target info via the datalink to the ka-50s. Having a radar turned on is like putting on a search light. It gives you away and also act as a magnet for HARM and other active radar seeking missiles. I think many people are just too used to Hollywood's verison of warfare. Almost all modern Airforces are starting to use a drones for the same reason. i.e. one drone out infront of the fighters/bombers etc to id targets and feed them back to the planes so they don't have to turn on their radar. This is why computer viruses will be at the frontline from now on. The idea is to somehow insert a virus between the drones and the planes. Yep us Nerds are the frontline in modern warfare. Try reinstalling sound drivers

Check your sound set up. 5.1 or headphones. If my soundcard is set to 5.1 and i use headphones i have the same problem

i have 9850 CPU , 4GB HyperX RAM,MSI 9800GT running on Vista. Can have frames low as 20 and highest 60-65. Thing is my pc only uses around 50% of CPU power overall. I watch task manager on 2nd montior . WHY?

PC mags are after money from software companies. Rating can be effected by how many ads are sold in Mag. Let me do a review. Not perfect but the best by a mile. 9.9/10
