  1. Are the hydraulic failures simulated on the jet? I tried forcing them on in the mission editor, even all the systems at once (1A,1B,2A,2B), but it doesn't seem to make any difference on the plane. I tried forcing other different failures, and all they work. But I cannot simulate any hydraulic failure.
  2. Thanks, but I didn't mean to request random failures. I know they already exist on MP. I was asking about triggering specific failures on an exact moment, just like you can do when creating a SP mission.
  3. Yes thanks. But that's not precise enough for the kind of missions I want to edit. Only having the time factor on a MP scenario is almost useless. In SP you can control when to trigger certain failures when someone for example enters an area, or does an specific action, or even you can make them happen via COMMs menu when you thing it's the appropiate moment. That's what I'm wishing to have in MP.
  4. Ok, but I mean to get full control over all the system failures and not to have them random. In SP missions you can control exactly when, where and how you want an specific failure to occur. It's great for practicing some emergency procedures. On MP there's no way to implement something like that.
  5. For instance to make MP missions simulating some specific emergency situations to practice how to deal with them. Real pilots have simulator sessions to practice how to react on emergencies. On DCS you can only implement something like this on SP missions, so far.
  6. No sir. When you make an aircraft CLIENT or PLAYER on a MP mission, you lose all those options.
  7. I don't know if it's viable, but I'd like the MP servers marked as favourites not to be erased as well as their passwords after each DCS update.
  8. I know It's been mentioned before, but for it not to fall into oblivion it'd be great to have the system failures implementation working in MP!
  9. Hi. I don't know if it's a problem on my end or it has been reported before. Since some time ago, when I ask the ground crew via VAICOM to remove the wheelchocks, they do nothing. The VoiceAttack log reports the right order (GroundCrew: Wheelchocks remove), ground crew repplies and, after a few seconds, they say "wheelchocks removed", but they are still on. If I do the same with VAICOM, but via the F-menu, everything works fine. EDIT: It happens with the Tomcat, I don't know if it's the same with other modules.
  11. Exactly... That simple sudden black screen when dead seems more natural and appropiate than switching to an external view, IMHO.
  12. Sounds interesting. Everything that adds realism to the sim is a +1 for me
  13. +1.... Always thought the same, but never remembered to write about it on the wish list thread!
  14. I personally do not like that external view when dying as well. But not for the noise or the shock. It's just because if I'm flying from a 1st person POV, I don't like it to be changed. I'd prefer a simple effect and fading into black. Maybe a fire or flashing light effect and then, black. But something pretty simple.
  15. Made some more tests. Using OpenXR is when I cannot record properly. When I launch DCS via Oculus API or SteamVR everything works fine with the recordings. I find no problems using OBS, just with Bandicam. Contacted Bandicam as the problem should be on its end.
  16. Hi. I'm having problems recording in VR with Bandicam software. Never had an issue before. But now, when using OpenXR toolkit I'm only getting a black image on my recordings. If I switch back to the previous DCS VR API implementation, Bandicam works well back again and shows DCS is running on DirectX 11. But as soon as I run it with OpenXR and its Toolkit to sharpen the image and run the game smoother, Bandicam records black again and shows DCS is running with DirectX 10!! I don't know if it's an incompatibility issue between OpenXR and Bandicam software or if I have something configured not properly. Could you @mbucchia please shed some light on the subject??? I use an Oculus Rift S headset. I attach two pictures, one showing Bandicam running under OpenXR and the other under the previous DCS API. Thanks a million.
  17. Hi everyone. I am using an Oculus Rift S headset with SteamVR and I use the Bandicam software to record on VR. I never had a problem with it before. Recently, I started using OpenComposite+OpenXR instead of SteamVR and I gained some performance. However, now I can only capture a black screen with Bandicam. I also tried with OBS with the same results: Audio ok, but black image. Didn't change anything on my system but the SteamVR-OpenXR transition. Tried everything I found on the web, but no joy. Could anyone please help me with it? Thanks.
  18. LCTRL+LSHIFT+Y What I don't know is how to bring it back after hidding it...
  19. You're right @sirrah. Sometimes I actually add some statics and triggers to simulate that thing on the missions I create. That could be handled in different ways, even in the airfields with no space for that, because it could be just something like adding an option via F menu when reaching the runway threshold (or before taxi, to make it simpler) to remove the safety pins. A more sophisticated way would be using some static crew or even an animated one doing that stuff. But that's not what I wish for, as I know that would take so much effort from the team for such an unnecessary thing. But an F option for controling that event (and the option to bypass that requirement for the people that wouldn't not like to wear unusable weapons if forgetting to remove the pins) would be great!
  20. I wish there were an area close to the active runway for arming the jet´s weapons prior to departure, and secure them after the flight. I mean remove/install the safety pin on every weapond loaded (altought those pins are actually not visually implemented yet) That would increase the feeling of carrying live weapons aboard.
  21. First to reply on this topic?? Let me say Tornado is just amazing... You heard what people here have been asking for for so long!! Thanks!!
  22. Working fine back again on my end as well...!!!! Thanks for the quick hotfix!!
  23. Standalone. I use SRS so I can talk to my buddies via radio in MP, so I prefer using the broadcast parallel set up in VAICOM. It always worked fine for me that way... I also noticed a degradation in voice recognition and button press when on cockpit. Without DCS running, everything seems to work right and the voice recognition is perfect. Once DCS running everything changes. But that's for later Hope PTT issue could be solved first.. and then menu pop up... BTW, I reseted .lua and nothing changed
  24. It doesn't work in SP either. I did not do any changes to my HOTAS, nor SRS, nor DCS... I also keep the HOTAS buttons for transmission clear in the DCS controls so voiceattack can handle them free.
