  1. Business happened. Business is business.
  2. What are you basing that fear on?
  3. It's from a book I read which was translated from a book Josef Priller wrote in 1956 named, JG 26: Geschichte eines Jagdgeschwaders. In that book, it mentions K-4's being delivered to III/JG 26. On page 522, it reads, "The Focke-Wulf Gruppen’s base movements left the Third Gruppe temporarily the strongest fighter unit in the area. The pilots’ routine at Plantluenne was typical or the last period of the war. Their service day began with sunrise and continued until darkness. After breakfast in the pilots’ Casino, or common room, they went to their Staffel’s dispersal. They were informed about weather conditions and waited there at readiness. The operational aircraft were assigned to the pilots on duty; this late in the war, few pilots had their own aircraft assigned to them. The Gruppe had received a number of examples of the last version of the Bf 109 to see service, the Bf 109K-4. This variant was very similar to the G-10, but a number of features that had been introduced in stages were standardized. Among these were a clear-vision canopy, an enlarged wooden tail assembly, a retractable tail wheel, and a 30-mm MK 108 or MK 103 nose cannon. The 30-mm cannon were extremely potent weapons, but they had a tendency to jam, and apparently all of the K-4s supplied to III/JG 26 were also equipped with 20-mm guns in the hated underwing tubs. Uffz. Georg Genth’s regular aircraft was a G-10, but on occasion he flew a K-4. He preferred the G-10 as a dogfighter, as the K-4’s bulky armament sharply reduced its maneuverability. Moreover, at high altitudes, above about 28,000 feet, the K-4 began to float. Genth found that during formation flight at high altitudes it was unnaturally sensitive and gave him the same signals that most aircraft give shortly before a stall. Formation flight had to conform to the speed of the lead aircraft, and a small change in its speed caused the pilots to start “swimming” in space in the very thin air at high altitudes." One book translated from a book published 11 years after the war ended. It's possible Priller was mistaken regarding the wing pods on the K-4. I haven't read or seen any other book that mentions this without using his book as its source. Memory can fade after 11 years.
  4. I assume you do not know the difference between a primary source and a secondary source. I do not know of any primary sources that definitively state or show that they were uses on the K4. If you comprehended what I posted, you would see that I am in agreement with you.
  5. There are no primary sources but there are secondary sources.
  6. I don't think Razbam has any control over pre-order release dates. That is ED's control.
  7. Also, I do not think that Razbam controls when ED puts up products for purchase.
  8. Why all the negativity? You are still going to buy it.
  9. Some were flown to the US for the PP upgrades and about 24 were produced. After the project was cancelled, he USAF kept them and tested them. Of course this is not from a primary source. I'm sure Deka know what they are doing.

    Brake sound

Maybe the ground crew did their job and cleaned the brakes?

    Release Date?

My dad was an engineer for McDonnell Douglas. Boeing screwed over the McDonnell Douglas employees and lied at every milestone of the so called merger.

    Release Date?

It would have been Boeing. Boeing bought McDonnell Douglas in 1996. But I haven't heard about that.

    Release Date?

They have said they shelved it until ED implemented ground radar and other features to DCS. Once that happened, they started working on it again.

    Release Date?

I stopped reading your post when I saw the underlined words, italics, and arrows.
  15. I'm guessing it could be released in the December update. Razbam said in a podcast that it he is not allowed to speak on a release date but it will be surprisingly soon.
  16. Razban have already stated that two different teams are working the projects. Maybe they do this when it's closer to release?
  17. They have already said that a Navy version will be coming. Just wait for it.

    Release Date?

It's funny that Heatblur for example, doesn't get the crap spewed towards them like some of the community do towards Razbam. They mention very little about their projects until they are relatively close to EA release. Maybe Razbam should do the same so some of your feelings aren't hurt when they don't meet your unrealistic expectations.
  19. You have inside information or are you just guessing?
  20. A different team is on the MiG-23 than the F-15E.

    F-15E vs. F-18C

The F/A-18 and F-15E are two completely different aircraft, designed for different roles, by different services. To try and compare them to say which one is better is silly.
  22. You bought a map that is in early access to a version of the game that is in open beta. Enjoy the map. Support the developer. Report bugs.
  23. Maybe you could offer your expert services to Razbam?
  24. You can flame out if you come out of AB with AOA. Level out then come out of AB.
