  1. Probably... SP = Single Player MP = MultiPlayer The difference is there are less changes in the Multiplayer files to not trigger the Integrity Check for Multiplayer servers that require it.
  2. So as of v2.5.6, there is a new problem running missions that utilize the Civil Objects Mod pack. It kicks out the following error during startup before closing the mission; Shader "model/fake_spot_lights.fx" failed to compile - HRESULT: ERROR_PATH_NOT_FOUND There wasn't any problem compiling this .fx file with v2.5.5, but for some reason, you guys changed something in v2.5.6 that keeps this particular shader from compiling. There are a lot of missions that utilize the Civil Objects Mod pack and the author has gone dark. Any chance for a fix on your end? Thanks, Capt_Dunsil
  3. Sadly v2.5.6 has broken this wonderful mission. I now get the following error; Shader "model/fake_spot_lights.fx" failed to compile - HRESULT: ERROR_PATH_NOT_FOUND This is unfortunately a common error for the Civil_Objects Mod pack after the update. Any chance of a fix? Thanks, Capt_Dunsil
  4. I also applaud the initiative to bring more rotary wing friendly servers online! I was on the server today and wondered if there might be a better way to initiate missions. Would there be a way for each pilot to request a SAR or have each individual pilot be assigned their own specific mission once they inform dispatch they are available? Like what they do in this mission plugin: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3305971/ Why I am wondering; I was on your server and approaching a cluster of 4 "downed Huey's" and came across 2 other helicopters circling and trying to line up on top of one of the smoke plumes. This made the possibility of a collision huge since nobody was talking on SRS and it was impossible to see which of the 4 smoke plumes each of the other two helicopters were lining up on. As I continued playing, I noticed a trend. Helicopters circling like vultures waiting for a smoke plume to appear and then they would fly off to try to get to it first. It kind of became a competitive free for all which seemed more about collecting more patients than anybody else. I would suggest that the only congestion we should encounter as pilots would be back at the hospitals/landing areas, where using a CTAF frequency specific for each landing area should be utilized. In addition, it would be great for the Huey crashes (or any other kind of rescue operation) to at least have something physically in place to represent each type of rescue (wrecked cars, helicopter sitting on the ground, people on the rooftop of a burning building, etc...). Trying to hover over a smoke plume makes it hard to find the actual center of the rescue. And even though you do provide coordinates once you get close, trying to hover while looking down and then looking up to see which direction and how far to the center of the rescue doesn't really work too well for keeping a stable hover going unless you can use the autohover autopilot cheat in DCS for the Huey and the Mi-8. Also, in the future, will you guys be providing a Mod pack for your specific server? Anyway, just my $0.02 worth, and if any of these ideas are outside of the scope of your project, then feel free to disregard them. Great job on bringing some fun to us rotor-heads and I am anxiously awaiting more updates and developments! Thanks, Capt_Dunsil
