  1. Oh I am aware WP0 (and all the other ones) automagically make it in there by what is assumed to be a rudimentary DTC... I guess my point is the system doesn't go 'align to where I am once you work out where that is by an external means' - except perhaps in IFA mode, or CV mode.
  2. Well WP0 is meant to be in the DTC and it aligns to that, however even manually entering it doesn't change that. Also this doesn't *only* work for "USA" It also works for "Australia" - confirmed and tested myself.
  3. Not true mate. I connect to two TTI servers here - one with mission date 1986 and one 2011 1986 doesn't work 2011 does. So, its not the client end.
  4. @boscoh I was working on a new mission just before the update, its mission date was 5 October 1996. It had the issue. Set it forward to 5 October 2001 and it was fixed. Set it back to 5 October 1996, still works. This was in an Australian Hornet too, so there's no Country based issue that I can see.
  5. Confirm its happening to me also. I do not have VR. GTX 970
  6. Persian Gulf, I believe. You have to enable dust on the mission editor options in weather.
  7. I am pretty sure you cant put cargoes on a moving ship. Even if it didn't explode, it just slides off...
  8. Note the external view shadow is better...
  9. Heres another example of transparency of the hornet... note the shadows under the wings (or lack thereof)
  10. I have no problem with an RAAF Hornet once the date was fixed. Note however I changed the date back to pre-2000 and it still worked, so would agree its something to do with ME saving.
  11. Also getting these strange hard lines - particularly through clouds, but faintly visible elsewhere, that I never got before.
  12. @nineline you closed the other thread on carrier comms in the radio calls before I had a chance to add... if you are a helo coming into land on a ship (frigate), it treats you the same as an aircraft landing on a carrier....
  13. I would agree with Harker... tis not just the Hornet effected... but it seems the worst effected.
  14. @Nineline... no its set to High.
  15. Ran some testing and I confirm that changing the abovementioned mission that failed, then worked when I changed the date, continued to work when I changed it back. apparently re-saving the mission in the current ME might fix the problem.
  16. I had a pre 2000 mission and it did not work even in SP. Changed the mission date via the mission editor to 2001, and it worked. No other changes. That being said, perhaps just saving the mission in the new version is what did it. I will have ot change it back and see. this would confirm what Panthir says then.
  17. Just for reference I tried setting the mission computer date forward to 2001 when in a 1986 mission, and it would not align.
  18. @NineLine ping was about 7-10ms. It was a dedicated server running in dedicated (non GUI) mode. I have used the same server and not had this issue with my aircraft on other maps. It still had the ghost missile issues. The common factor(so far) in the ones I had issues with, was it was raining, or a map that had rain on it- one was dynamic, one was a static storm. So far, in maps without any rain, I have not had an issue. I am not sure why rain would effect it, and I am not saying it does, but as I said, that's the only common factor I have found so far.
  19. I can confirm what Tbear has said, if the mission date is before 1/1/2000, it wont align, at all, by any of the workaround methods given.
  20. If you could also fix the fact that landing lights of an aircraft behind you shine entirely through the entire plane as if it weren't there and light up your panels to blinding levels, that would be great too.
  21. In certain light, at certain angles, it is almost like the 'hood' over the instrument panel is transparent. Others have noticed that shadows have disappeared, externally. Here's an example. Yes, the ship looks like its floating. Its always done that, particularly when sand/dust is enabled. But this shading issue seems to be new as at this release.
  22. Were you on Caucasus? Because I have found it to not work on that map, but it definitely does on Persian Gulf... Edit: going off what Tbear said, more than likely that's a date related issue, because the Caucasus map I was flying in had a mission date prior to 1/1/2000 whereas the PG map was in 2011
  23. @NineLine - I have played the track file back myself and it doesn't replicate the behaviour in game. I am not sure if that's because its essentially a SP replay of an MP game or not. You will see I look up a number of times, that's me looking up to where the 'land' is.
