Shooting sports, DCS, upgrading my computer for DCS
  1. What folder so you have it in? Mine is in C:\Users\xxxx\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Mods\aircraft and it works with no issues.
  2. One of these might help for now: User Files (digitalcombatsimulator.com)
  3. Bravo, sir! I was just going to write the same thing!
  4. Emphasis on "low speed ACM". How fast and at what g-load do you think they could used? Also, I was thinking about the answers rather than the complaints How widespread? My understanding is that many squadron CO's prohibited the practice. If true, I wonder why? Also, it doesn't address speed and g's. Specifics are important here, especially if one is violating NATOPS. Taking that at face value have they given you speed and g numbers to share here? How would that look any different from normal landing flaps? Unless you are thinking of them getting stuck in an interm
  5. If that's what you're worried about, then REJOICE!, because no one is asking for that and HB has never even hinted at it. So when a Hornet Driver pulls the paddle and exceeds his g-limits, you will still be able to match him g for g.
  6. There is a little slider switch under the chat window that I never paid attention to. It shows who you are "sending" to and you can switch back and forth with your curser.
  7. You two are taking this way more seriously than I think is warranted. Simply put it is just an idea I thought some players would want and others would not. The only real question is would the juice be worth the squeeze. Meaning would there be enough interest for such an option to invest the level of effort required to implement it. If so, it would simply be one of many choices available to players to customize their own playing experience. You are free to disagree with that, but I feel no obligation to justify my “wish” to you. I have more important, and frankly, more interesting things
  8. Not really how I would have worded it but this does sort of capture the spirit of the idea.
  9. Not really. At most it would only simulate an automatic g-limiter. None of the other benefits of FBW would be present and the flight model remains unchanged. As a general rule cheating helps people compete or achieve a goal. I am not sure how limiting g-performance is cheating.
  10. Yes, I get that but I was just hoping to get some kind soul to reply. And not only did you reply, but I think your explanation about "Team chat" v. "chat for all" answers my question and will solve my problem! Cheers
  11. That's weird. According to Bignewy's post below the stable version is the currently the same as open beta. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=273255 I have no explanation.
  12. Open Beta. But I think they are currently the same version.
