  1. I know it doesn't really move but I have heard there is a small amount of movement for tactile feedback. Will the sim reflect this accurately?
  2. Hey Grover, we just experienced an issue and wanted to let you know of a different situation in which this can happen, since it hasn't been mentioned already. First, we had a two-flight of Tomcats engaging two MiG-31s. We had a lock tone, but neither of us ever got a launch tone from the two R-33s that were fired at us. Later, we had a Tomcat shot down by a 9M33 Osa (SA-8 Gecko) which never received lock or missile lock warnings from the RWR. They were just cruising above the AO lasing targets and exploded. Will attach Tacview when the mission is finished.
  3. Singleplayer load times are noticeably longer, and multiplayer can take a couple attempts and 5-10 minutes to get into a server. Singleplayer performance is fine (maybe slightly less than other modules) but multiplayer performance is abysmal. On a busy server (Through the Inferno, Georgia At War) I will stop to a steady 8-13fps (as reported in-game) with 2-10% GPU load and 15-30% CPU load. Other modules are usually 25-30+fps. FX-8350 GTX 1080ti 16gb DDR3 @ 1600Mhz Samsung 870 Evo SSD 24gb page file on SSD with OS. Windows 10, DCS in high priority, minimal background applications. O

  5. I would like to know if the RIO can be killed without the game considering the aircraft "dead". For example, if the RIO is killed by gunfire or some other means, but the pilot is fine, can the pilot be left RIO-less and still attempt to fight or flee? Or will death to either crew member just mean the aircraft is considered dead as a whole? Hopefully I'm making sense, this is not the most articulate article I've ever written.
  6. Yes, it did nothing. The AJS-37 Viggen module does not want to install properly, so I'm hoping deleting it and repairing will work (since "deleting" it in-game does not actually do a thing at all except remove it from the bottom bar).
  7. I appear to have fixed it by ignoring the big warning message and changing my version # manually in the autoupdate.cfg file, in the main DCS directory.

The game will update to new version fine, but once updated, will ask if you want to update again - hitting yes will delete DCS.exe and a number of other files (2gb worth), and try to update, eventually installing the latest version - again. If I click "Later" the game will launch fine in the latest version, with MP working fine etc. However, I just bought the AJS-37 Viggen, and when I try to install it, I get this error message: "ERROR: Version is not available." and the updater quits, without installing the Viggen module.   9. What version is the server running on? I haven't been able to connect (server offline when I try via IP) for the last week on stable or beta. Been keeping em both updated to latest.
  10. Hey there, just recently starting with this server in the MiG-21. Was on the mission Supervision, I believe, the other night and was never able to load anything except tanks and heatseekers. No countermeasures or anything like that. Another guy on the server had no problem. When the server rotated to the sail one (I forget the exact name) I was still unable to equip countermeasures (or radar missiles/bombs/ATGMs, but this may be intentional?). Read through the whole thread looking for an answer but didn't find anything about them being disabled or anything. Thanks for the great server!
