  1. There is a naming convention for roughmet textures. They have to be named like the diffuse texture with _roughmet extension

  9. As i understood mixing up is no option. So mi-24 will fight on blue side or on red side. From point of inventing it it belongs to red. From point of challenging red it belongs to blue til the apache arrives. :)

  11. I think I had a translation issue again. Mi-24 against Ka-50 could be interesting as well! I am really looking forward to the new helis.
  12. I think the KA-50 is still a flying tank with a lot of fire power with board gun and upk. Fights between ka-50 and Huey are just ridiculously unballanced so i don't understand your opinion about taking out the gazelle. (Or it may be a problem of translation on my side) The tournament is a lot of fun every time and i will join again although it feels like being the clay pigeon at a clay pigeon shoot in the huey. But there should be interest on both sides to move it somehow to a ballanced event.
  13. Hi, i switched to 2.9 as early as possible and had no problems at all. I did not test every feature with every little detail but i think between 2.8 and 2.9 no major changes appeared in blender which could cause problems with the addon
  14. Hi Flappie, i found a solution: I had to deleted the edModelViewer2 folder in saved games. Now it works again. Unfortunately i deleted the log file of the not working situation but there is a guy who posted his log file on discord and had the same problem. If you want i can ask him if i can upload his file here.
  15. Hi all, i have a problem with the modelviewer. When i try to load a model ist chrashes to desktop without an error message. I removed all mods and repaired DCS but the problem was still there. I uninstalled, reinstalled DCS and the problem was still there. I recorded a video how it looks. Is there a log file for the modelviewer? Has anybody an idea what can i try to fix it?

  17. Lol your name seems to be your program. There is a lot of multiplayer besides puplic servers. ;) Chaffs don't work e.g. on radarguided AAA.   20. Hi, here is a mod that adds a rwr system to the cockpit. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3312603/ Radar emitting Units appear in the outer circle. If a unit locks you it apears in the inner circle and a warning sound appears. If a radar guided missle is fired, an even more annoying warning sound appears. You can enable or disable the additional instrument in options Unfortunatly the object don't follow the panel vibrations in the UH-1 INSTALL: 1. unzip the file and copy the folder RWR to your savedgames mod-folder \Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Mods\aircraft\
  21. Hi FlyNeX, i am no expert with that but i think you have to use collision lines with certain names. I have seen a thread about it in the forum or on a discord channel but did not find it again for the moment.
  22. Hi lee1hy, you can switch the display mode of the outliner from for example "view layer" to "Blender File". There you can see all objects even if an armature has no bones or something like that. I tried to use "join" with armatures. All bones are in one armature and the other armature becomes invisible but stays in the blend file. This may have caused your problems
