  1. Hey all, Just thought I would chime in and say that I am having a similar issue with my vive pro 2 and dcs current open beta. I've been able to consistently replicate the issue smashing F2 and and F10. The crash seems to happen the fasted on Syria and multiplayer servers. I've tried a full DCS reinstall, current drivers system reformat etc and nothing seems to work. Starting to think its a memory leak watching system performance as the game is churning through aircraft etc. Anyone had any further luck with the issue?
  2. this is perfect, cant wait to try it out tomorrow
  3. this is a little stupid one, But i was holding down one of the soft keys on the MFD for a prolonged time had a SOFT BUTTON STUCK alert pop up
  4. I only bought the game yesterday but from my understanding the trim has a set button that must be pushed and held while you move the stick into a set flight position, release the button and the trim will be set..... I could be very wrong from that though ;)
  5. Dart, you have hit the nail on the head! just configured it up then and it feels so much more responsive and slugish (what i was hoping for) in the lower end movements. Thanks again Skete
  6. Hey all, from all accounts it does sound like the A-10 does perform as what the book says, but just the fidgety feel i was talking about can also be put down to how quickly the aircraft is able to yaw on the ground (when getting to take off speed) and in the air - of course this could be a factor because the aircraft has the jet engines placed right in front on the elevator and rudder so more movement at low airspeeds is accountable for because of the increased airflow over those control surfaces. I have experience with flying aerobatic aircraft (pitts special and decathlon) and from starting my aileron rolls in the decath and moving onto the pitts it was an amazing experience to see the difference in the roll rates, I just thought for the size of the A-10 what i am feeling in the aircraft felt at times to be a bit unrealistic. I will have a play with the axis's on the joystick and see if that can change it a bit
  7. That is a good point you make Ether, but it just feels like even with the speed breaks out its roll rate is still going well, but the ailerons are the size of a small planes wing so i would not be surprised if it can actually roll that well. I am having a play with it at the moment and found that if you do infact have the airbrakes and a low enough speed you really wont achieve a great roll rate but definitely create a nice experience when trying to turn at the low IAS ;)
  8. Hey everyone! Hope this is posted in the right place, I just had a question in relation to mainly the A-10 and for that matter other aircraft in LOMAC is that the roll rate and general maneuverability of the aircraft feels as if i am able to turn the aircraft on a dime while maintaining a low speed. I might be alone on this but it feels as if the aircraft is more fidgety and nimble than i would expect from a ground attack aircraft. I have not seen any specifications for the aircraft so it could well be able to achieve such an astonishing roll rate and climb and turn ability. My main example of this is that when i am going in for a bombing run in the A-10 i am holding a constant IAS of 165kts the aircraft is still able to manage what seems like a really fast roll rate and turn away after dropping flares. At first i thought it may have been that i had inadvertently sped the game up (which i had done in the past with disastrous results) but now am still wondering what it could be. If anyone is able to shed some light on this or has noticed the same thing please get back to me! Cheers Skete
  9. oh very very close but no cigar lol. 182 has prop pitch, This is the 172 and correct with the G1000 Well done!
  10. nope its a plane but yes it is non combat
  11. Well here is what i get to fly with working PFD and MFD's!!! :pilotfly: 1 point for who ever can guess what aircraft it is
  12. First of all thanks for the reply Panzertard Well i got the monitor's finally working- kept messing up the placement of them. But my 2 next problems is that i cant seem to get the phantom monitor fix to work and the multilayer GUI is still stretched over 2 screens or is this how it is meant to be? Also and i think this could just be that my system cant handle it but when ever i print screen now the game crashes!
  13. G'day everyone I have gone through just about every thread trying to find a solution but it all seems to come up blank. I am looking for a way to have multi monitor support with my vista OS rig. My set up is as follows: 2 Monitors: Main monitor to the right (monitor 1) (1680 x 1050) secondary monitor to the left (Monitor 2) (1280 x1024) My aim is to have the abris and shkval on the left monitor and the main game screen on the right Every time i have tired to do this i am jsut getting the shkval abris and main screen on the main monitor. I am aware vista only does dual view support and was wondering if there was a way around this. Also what should i use to edit the .lua files? Hope you all can help Cheers Skete
