  1. Hi Chuck, Ive found this on a kit modellers forum. The discussion explains what it could be and the associated hardware. https://rnzaf.proboards.com/post/275572/thread BTW…thanks for all of your work, it is an excellent resource.
  2. There would have been a range of navigation beacons located all over that part of England during WW2, all with different frequencies and Morse idents. Also, each airfield would have been likely to have several navigation beacons in its vicinity at different times. You may actually find it’s easier to just setup your own. If you want the current details for airfields in 2021, the UK AIP can be found at www.caa.co.uk
  3. I’m seeing similar issues with datalink contacts from human players. The AI seem to work OK though. Hopefully it’s as a result of this map being wip.
  4. I suppose it could be as simple as, “when the boss says do it again”, you just gotta go with it…
  5. Hi all, I'm still experiencing this issue running Stable 2.5.6.59625.1, it happens more often than not using those particular settings. Is anyone seeing the same and can ED please check to see if this remains an open item to repair. Thanks in advance.
  6. Hi all, I'm using DCS Stable 2.5.6.59625.1 and have noticed a possible problem with the AGM-84E cruise altitude profile setting. What ever I set the cruise altitude profile to (high, medium or low), after launch, the missile will always try to maintain the original launch altitude for the cruise phase of it flight, rather than the selected high, medium or low profile. I've included a track to show a launch from ~25k ft, with the cruise profile set to medium (15k ft). You will see that the missile attempts to cruise at the original launch altitude, rather than 15k ft as per the profile setting. Is anyone seeing the same behaviour and can this be checked by ED please. Thanks in advance. AGM-84E incorrect cruise altitude.trk
  7. Thanks very much for the reply. It definitely looks as though things have changed in the current OB, as the lights will not come on without triggers in stable. Unfortunately your example missions don't work in stable but I suspect that when I get an update (hopefully soon), all things will work. Thanks again for the work you did to assist me.
  8. Hi all, I recently purchased the WWII Assets pack and for the life of me, I just can't get the searchlights to....well...search. They turn on and turn off with the triggers I've set but they will not search or track. I'm using DCS stable V2.5.6.55960 and I've attached the .miz file I used to test. I'd really appreciate any help with this. Thanks in advance. bbbbbb.miz
  9. Thanks very much, appreciate your reply.
  10. Just to follow up on this, does anyone know if HB acknowledged this bug?
  11. It looks as though this is happening again. I'm using stable V2.5.6.55960 and the AGM-84D is crashing into the sea when using the skim setting in R/BL mode. It was not this way in the previous stable version. I also have seen it appeared to be fixed in a previous change log. Can this be checked again please. AGM-84D crashing into sea.trk
  12. Hi all, Thanks very much for the great instructions above. I'd like to be able to send a command to the rescue helo to RTB through a trigger, once we are all back on deck. I'm familiar with how to setup triggers but I'm having a lot of trouble working out the syntax for the script for the helo to RTB. Can anyone please help me out? Thanks in advance.
  13. Yes, that’s exactly what I’m seeing. I’m not sure when it was first introduced as I haven’t flown the F-14 for some time. Hopefully we will get acknowledgement by HB.
  14. Thanks very much for checking and confirming you are seeing the same. Can a Dev please note this in the bug tracker and fix when ready?
  15. Thanks very much, I’d appreciate it if you could check and let me know your findings.
  16. I'm running DCS 2.5.6.52437 and have a question regarding the operation of the ground spoilers. In previous versions...with flaps up, the anti skid/spoiler brake switch set to either BOTH or SPOILER BK and the throttle at idle with WoW, the inboard spoilers would deploy and the outboard spoilers would remain down. I have been told this is the correct behaviour but as of now the ground spoilers will not deploy until the flaps have been lowered and then both the inboard and outboard ground spoilers deploy. Is this a bug or the correct behaviour? Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
  17. I'd really like to see that script. I've been thinking about how to do this for a while now.
  18. See post 3 of this thread for the answer. It works perfectly.
  19. Viking 1-1 is using the scenario which is the subject of this thread. “Undesignate” is a required part of the procedure, although there are significantly fewer times you need to do it now.
  20. Check to see if the elevation of the waypoint is at ground level. If not, then set its elevation at ground level and try again.
  21. Thanks very much for all of your work. Your guides are really an excellent way to learn a new module.
  22. Hi, Can someone please help me to identify what information I’ve failed to provide in the post. I don’t seem to be getting any acknowledgement from either NineLine or BIGNEWY, that they are willing to reconsider the initial “correct as is” statement. Any assistance to point me in the right direction is appreciated.
  23. Hi, Any chance this can be looked into again please? Thanks in advance.
