  1. Trust me, I think it is BS and If were in Germany I would go to his house and get my money back plus some! It is wrong to take someones money and not follow through- you can call it what you want, un-honest, cheating, stealing, whatever. It is funny when someone owes you money and don't have it... they think ignoring the problem will make it go away!

  2. Hey guys, I just ordered a ch flightstick usb and throttle to fly black shark. I'm currently using an Fssb cougar, but it makes flying a heli pretty tough. I have had 3 cougars and overall pretty happy( I do have backup parts just in case). So what are your opinions on the ch stuff for black shark- or even falcon ?

  3. Hey Urze, I understand totally. My 2 cents is if you have problems and know about it- I would post something here in the forum! Just one post to ease tensions. I really don't care how long it takes since you make quality and rare products! I think most people here understand that you are doing this alone part time. So, don't sweat it and keep developing new products!

  4. Just referring to the feel of the cyclic, there are springs that will keep the stick centered at its last trimmed position. You can move it away from that position, and there will be spring resistance to give the stick "feel", in other words, resistance against your movement so you can feel what's going on. With the trimer pressed, there is no spring feel whatsoever, and the control is very loose. Same goes for the pedals. For the collective, the collective brake is similar to the trimmer, but it will not return the collective to the "last trimmed" position. With the collective brake on, it's difficult to move the collective, with it pressed, it's very easy, there is virtually no resistance. In practice, any movement of the collective goes in the order of: press and hold collective brake button, move collective, release collective brake button. Whereas the cyclic and pedals are often moved without holding down the trimmer button, this is not done with the collective.

Oh, and yes, sit on a washing machine, that's a perfect description. In fact, we use it all the time where I work. (The term, not actual washing machines)

Thanks man, I have a few thousand hours in airplanes, but when it comes to helos ( no clue). I was watching the youtube cockpit video while the pilot was doing some vertical maneuvers and it seemed the he was not trimming, plus the cyclic looked (not springy) .

  5. CH Fighter Stick, Pro throttle and the Pro pedals. I used to own a Saitek X45. It was a nice "cheap" HOTAS. The reason I bought CH was because after 2 years of use the X45 was giving me problems with Steel Beasts Pro PE, the disc under the spring had just a little to much friction. Even lubing it didn't solve the problem. Trying to hit a moving tank at 3000 meters with your stick sometimes jumping because you overcame the friction of the disc sucked. The cougar looked nice but after reading all the problems with the stock cougar I decided to go with CH.

just maybe based on natural selection your ch might evolve into a cougar,

or an alien might plant a cougar in your house!

    the strongest overcome!

    sorry, your avatar is inviting!

  6. Cougar hotas is the best controller setup period! When you get a new one there might be a little slop in in the y axis, but it is really east to fix with a metal file! I just ordered UZE extender 31 cm so I can place the stick on the floor which will work for the blackshark and the A-10 when it arrives! Saitek joysticks are toys compared a cougar. I fly a citation for a living and I big when it comes to a real feel in my sim. The cougar does the best job!

    Just my 2 cents.

  7. nice setup yourself! I tried 3 different stacks, Broadcom, Micosoft, and Bluesoleil. My IO gear adapter came from Walmart and had the broadcom stack. You have to manualy hook up the Wiimote each time you want to use it. That is why I chose the bluesoleil stack , because it was the eaisest , plus I heard they were going to add a Wii adapter to their software soon. When the Wii is connected , all the lights will flash - and keep flashing( you hit A+B to start the hook up). Your Wiimote light will search for 20 sec and go off if it does not connect. Again, when connected, the lights will flash the whole time. After connection you need to start the smoothboard software and the wiimote will go to one light.
