  1. Thanks! It's most likely the battery to main power issue that's causing it. I don't have any mods installed. I'll try it out tonight and if the issue persists I'll let you know. Cheers!
  2. I got through Mission 1 no problem, but at the outset of Missions 2 and 3 it tells me to turn on the batter and request startup through the F10 menu. I did so, but the option to request startup never appears, only Taxi and Immortal. I ignored that after awhile and started up, then it tells me to switch to VHF preset 8 and press spacebar when ready; I did so but nothing happens when I hit spacebar. I tried several times on both missions before giving up. Is there an issue with the communications or frequencies? Otherwise, great campaign Cheers!
  3. Thanks so much! I figured it was something like this. I will try this out. Much appreciated!
  4. I've noticed since one of the recent updates that when I drop the CBU-97s now, they just "pop" and no munitions are dropped, just nothing happens. The 87s seem to be fine, but the 97s aren't working anymore. I used to drop them all the time. Are they bugged right now? Thanks,
  5. Whoever made this adaptation... thanks so much!! I loved the A-10 version, as well as the F-16 version and now the AH-64. Much appreciated.
  6. Hi, I've played this mission a few times now. What I've found happens is that the convoy starts but then eventually stops at the village at the base of the ridge that the road goes up and runs into the insurgent roadblock. I've flown up there, taken out the insurgents, am given a "good hits" indication from the convoy down below, but they still don't move. My assumption was that they would drive up the ridge road from the village and we're suppose to take out insurgents higher on the ridge.
  7. I understood DCS does not support multi-core at present. Could that be the issue?

    F6F Hellcat

I agree Mr. Grey has not mentioned it, but one of the ED BizDev heads indicated in an interview last year that after the Mosquito, their focus will be on the East and that Mr. Grey was particularly interested in developing the Hellcat first. Of course this was awhile ago and who knows whats happened since. Would be an awesome module though.
  9. Great to hear! Looking forward to the Bearcat, among other aircraft for the Pacific Theater? Would this be an official aircraft from ED or one of the developers, or is this in reference to a mod?
  10. Hellcat.. or better yet, Corsair, but I think that's already being worked on. Bring on the Pacific theater!
  11. Listening to the Podcast now.. really interesting content, especially on the community management and the specific mitigation of issues, particularly around weapons. One question though, who was snoring in the background?
  12. Hello, As a pilot, aviation-enthusiast and business consultant, I am wondering if there are any podcasts or write-ups in regard to Mr. Nick Grey. Specifically the history of how he founded SSI, ED, his partnership with Igor, how they developed this amazing platform while most others have either failed our been consumed and shelved. His experience as a real-life warbird pilot, and overall passion for aviation. There have been a couple of fantastic podcasts on Matt Wagner and his history; I'm wondering if there's anything like that for Mr. Grey. I would think it would be super inspirational. Regards,
  13. Have you tried Googling F18 natops? It's the first link that pops up... and BTW, it's NOT classified.
  14. As a descendant of Gregory Boyington.. I am also very enthusiastic about the introduction of the F4U Corsair as well as the Mariana's map into the DCS World. Working from home during this time of quarantine, I have a signed print of Boyington making his 21st kill in the Corsair right in front of me every day. Cheers!
  15. I was; looks like registration is fixed. Thanks.
