i have managed to install and got the cougar working on windows 7. I had to uninstall the latest driver...and instead install 3_HCO_2004.exe (6.31MB) - the main Thrustmaster Cougar software, developed by TM. Steps: 1. unplug cougar from usb port. 2. run driver to uninstall previous version 3. run driver again for installation. 4. Plug in joystick( trottle disconnected) with trigger button held in for a few second to clear flash. 5. wait for windows to detect. 6. unplug joystick, connect throttle back, and plug back to usb. 7. run cougar update to install flash 8. enjoy!!!!!

damn it ...i deleted my vista the other day ....and im in the same situation with xp and win7 on seperate partitions. im trying to install the vista32 driver 2007 - 46MB... u using the same driver? so u reckon installing on the driver on vista first then copyiung the files through would work??

when i try to install my hotas cougar on windows 7, i get the error of Hotas cougar data in and data out " driver not found" i tried using the driver on the cd provided and also download the hotas driver for vista32 also, both ended up with the same error.. Also when i click on control panel i get the error saying sttubedevice.dll missing. Can any1 help ???

I agree with Wags.... I been flying OF4.5 for the past 2 years, and i love it, but that's not stopping me from getting in BS too, but im not givin up on OF that's for sure; firstly ill like to say that the OF sim is running on an engine tht's over 10years old. so there are limitation in wht can be moded. plus the dev team are not allowed to do exe edits which is a major drawback for development. So for wht it was and wht it is now, ill say hats off to the guys who devoted their time and patience to makes this an awesome sim with a good combat experience. u cannot compare an F-16 combat sim to a helo combat sim, they obvisouly will have differences. as for the candy and technology behind the sims, BS is also an awesome sim with new engine and design to it. They both have their good sides with different experiences. The point is: Great job to the dev teams for providing us with these sims. that we can just download and enjoy!! till the next one comes up with more features.

I wudnt say we sorted yet ....hehehe, not until i have this sim working happily we are not sorted...ive started a new download today at work now...im hoping that everything goes well and my install and serial works. Then we can say we sorted. :) But ill like to say thanx for the support and quick replies from Groove and tex

that's wht i wanted to talk to the admin about ....if they can send me the files via CD or soemthing....coz i already paid for it.....i can pay for postage too....or money back for me .... This is really pissing me off ....i tried different softwares....but im pretty sure the problem is not on my side...but on the server side at the moment im in mauritius. im originally from melbourne...used to have 30 Mbps download from telstra...now im down to 512kbps kuky can u burn the two files for me... i think Aus Post or DHL do the registered express post, and its paid on delivery. i can cover cost on my side...that would be awesome???

i am using a download manager...ive tried DAP and free Download manager. they both give me server error. and they never resume once they crash. I need to the email of the admins to work out something. im starting to get the feeling that ive wasted my US$50

ive tried all different mirrors...and im still having lots of trouble....i always seem to end up with a broken link ..and i have started over about 5+ times already. Why are the admins not answering this post.....i need to get in touch with them ..via email...and the ones advertised on the website are obsolete. i have just bought the English version of DCS:BS and im downloading it now. but the problem is that i have a 512Kbps download connection, so u can imagine my pain. but its losing connection to the server frequently. I tried email the admins on webmaster@digitalcombatsimulator.com - site administrator (please, write your login to speed up the answer) support@digitalcombatsimulator.com - technical support but these emails addresses are not working. Please give me the proper emails so i can get in touch with some1 who can help me out in getting this Sim. Hoping to get replies really soon Thank you
