  1. Can you testers tell us what beta build you are on?
  2. You know it is fairly rude to tell someone to use the SEARCH button. If you don't want to answer or help that person, then don't answer at all. Someone may come along that might want to help someone who is new to these forums.
  3. There is no certain testing duration or usual time for coding and fixing things found in beta. Too many variables that can control that. I have been on teams where a beta build took several months to get out and other teams where we got a new beta build the next day.
  4. Um, Viper JG, I didn't see where he said it was a new ideer. He just announced his release is all. It looks nice. No need to try and burst his bubble because he isn't the first to come out with this kind of MOD. BTW I envy your system....one day......some day......:D
  5. Griff and I are EXTREMELY happy with our Dell 24 inchers. GREAT buy and with prices dropping, well worth the price for gaming and just general use. I use it for Allied Force, LOMAC (when I fly it), and EECH. They are all very beautiful on this monitor.

  9. As a side note, ENSURE you have an AWACS in the mission on the side of the Arty battery or it won't fire "beyond visual range".

  11. Ah finally!!!! An in depth Hog Campaign. I have also started work on one, but I don't know how long it will take. Are you going to make a Multiplay version also?
  12. I'll jump on that bandwagon. IMO, Yellonet is absolutely correct.
  13. Put a Russian AWACS plane in the mission and they will fire long range. If there is no AWACS then they will only fire if the target is line of sight.
  14. What does it matter how many activations. He bought the sim. PERIOD. Why should he have to buy more? That is a biased remark, just like many of your remarks are anymore GG. You are defending the indefensible! Sad.

  16. Bob has been a long time advocate for flight simming and gaming in general. A super nice guy, and was a great asset to flight simming far more then people realize. He has branched out into some kind of sliding cars or something like that. Ever get a chance to meet him, buy him a beer. De Janitor deserves it!
  17. Helo's, at least simulation helo's, are much harder to fly and require much more concentration. You have to be on your toe's at all times to fly the machine, and then add that you have to fight the machine.....both offensively and defensively. It is an absolute kick in the southside, though and very challenging. Vortex Ring, Blade Stall, all the fun stuff that can put you in the ground with a big bang are terms you will become familiar with. I would suggest getting a hold of EECH and EEAH to get you immersed into Helo Simulation flying.

  19. I hope we see them, because this is one of the top 3 issues I have with the sim. I am just disappointed it has to wait for the new project to see the light of day.
  20. And that reinforces what I said, it appears that the Max range is set to a fixed range, no matter the altitude. Also the missile engine burn time is too short, which effects range and inertia. All have been issue's in all versions and patched versions in as far as the AMRAAM is concerned.
  21. Oh boy. This could open a can....... The range, range due to altitude, missile burn time, inertia, et al has been discussed many times. It seems that in all version out currently that there is just a plain jane 16-18 mile limit. Time will tell.
