  1. Ok, after running cleanup and deleting unwanted files, it now wants to download 5 modules that were already installed including CA. So it might be fixed... Yep it's working now problem solved.
  2. Hi all, before I actually claim that combined arms doesn't work in 2.7.3, can I ask if anyone else can access ground vehicles? I've tried to access the M1A2 Abrams, ATGM Stryker, ATGM HMMWV, and several others in Nevada, The Channel and Marianas so far. I created the maps in mission editor and also made sure the Player Can Drive box is ticked in each one, I ticked Battlefield Commanders for both sides (all 4 options). I've shut down DCS and restarted, restarted the PC, made different missions and can't use CA at all. I'm currently running the repair tool and I've cleared out any mods by using the cleanup tool... brb.. DxDiag.txt dcs.log
  3. I don't get any errors now after removing all my modules that I already own but are causing auth errors, but, the module manager wants to redownload them all and as I'm inbetween houses I have to rely on my mobile phones data to download so I have to wait till after the 19th so I have enough data to do this. Not a very helpfull solution....
  4. I checked regedit and it corresponds with the correct location for Beta. I'm running Kaspersky Internet Security but I'm still trying to work out if it could be blocking it. I'll try removing all offending aircraft and terran modules, restart DCS... se how that goes...
  5. Thanks but that is not working, I've tried uninstalling the modules I don't own several times and several ways in the module manager. However thats not the main problem, the main one is that it's not recognizing the modules I do own: F-14, F/A-18C, A-10C II, which are showing up in the unauth message, but as well I own The Channel, Syria and Normandy and these are not showing up either. My username is correct on the game menu page.
  6. I'm getting the same problem too, but it is listing 6 modules, 3 of which I have purchased (F/A-18C, A-10C II, F-14). I have done the time sync as listed above. I even tried turning off daylight savings and synced time. I deleted the c drive files as listed above too. This is a fresh install of Beta and it was mostly downloaded except for the terrain folder, which didn't reduce the download much anyway... autoupdate_log.txt dcs.log.old dcs.log
  7. Awesome thanks Funny thing is I copied the terrain folder across and it only reduced the download from 50GB to 40GB! LOL
  8. Hi, So my Beta install was corrupt and I have deleted it and I'm starting fresh and I have waited for the 47GB download for Beta. So now in the game it wants to download 52GB for all my purchased modules... can I copy them from the stable version and save downloading some or all of that data?
  9. Hi all, First off I just want to say thanks to those that help us out here in the forums So I installed the Beta version as I want to try out the latest features added to the Hornet, but I am getting strange occurences with the different modules that I have purchased. Firstly the 'Authorization Failed' window appears on startup - however I have purchased 3 (Supercarrier, A-10C II and AV-8B) out of the 6 listed. Now I went into the folders and found the Supercarrier folder and copied it from: D:\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Mods\tech\Supercarrier to the beta folders here: D:\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta 2.5\Mods\tech\Supercarrier but I still get the unauth'd failure. all the mods/aircraft folders in DCS World folder are in the beta one also. The other problem is that in Beta I am not seeing any of my maps that I bought except for Caucas. I found the terrains folders and copied those to Beta also but they still don't appear in game. Any help is very much appreciated. Cheers, Scotty.
  10. Thanks Art, that was the problem and its working now.
  11. Hi all, I have been trying to update to the latest version as I’m still on 59625 and I see that 60645 and 60720 are out, but every time I run the updater it just does a quick search and then loads the game without downloading the latest version. I don’t even get the message afterwards saying that you are up to date. Any idea what is wrong? I ran the cleanup and repair tool and it downloaded 10gb of files and still no joy. === Log opened UTC 2021-01-30 00:08:09 2021-01-30 00:08:09.656 INFO DCS: Command line: "D:\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin/DCS.exe" 2021-01-30 00:08:09.656 INFO DCS: DCS/2.5.6.59625 (x86_64; Windows NT 10.0.19041) 2021-01-30 00:08:09.656 INFO DCS: DCS revision: 179622 2021-01-30 00:08:09.656 INFO DCS: Renderer revision: 21314 2021-01-30 00:08:09.656 INFO DCS: Terrain revision: 21287 2021-01-30 00:08:09.656 INFO DCS: CPU cores: 6, threads: 12, System RAM: 65479 MB, Pagefile: 9728 MB 2021-01-30 00:08:09.678 INFO EDCORE: (dDispatcher)enterToState_:0 2021-01-30 00:08:09.683 INFO Dispatcher: 2021/1/30 11:08 V1803061700 2021-01-30 00:08:09.699 INFO INPUT: Device [Keyboard] created deviceId = -1 2021-01-30 00:08:09.729 INFO INPUT: Device [Throttle - HOTAS Warthog {27C18880-607F-11eb-8002-444553540000}] created deviceId = -1 2021-01-30 00:08:09.729 INFO INPUT: Joystick created[Throttle - HOTAS Warthog {27C18880-607F-11eb-8002-444553540000}], ForceFeedBack: no 2021-01-30 00:08:09.736 INFO INPUT: Device [Joystick - HOTAS Warthog {27C1FDB0-607F-11eb-8006-444553540000}] created deviceId = -1 2021-01-30 00:08:09.736 INFO INPUT: Joystick created[Joystick - HOTAS Warthog {27C1FDB0-607F-11eb-8006-444553540000}], ForceFeedBack: no 2021-01-30 00:08:09.750 INFO INPUT: Device [Mouse] created deviceId = -1 2021-01-30 00:08:09.788 INFO SOUND: Using driver: wasapi 2021-01-30 00:08:09.789 INFO SOUND: Found 3 available audio device(s): 2021-01-30 00:08:09.789 INFO SOUND: 0: ID: "{0.0.0.00000000}.{12cd534b-9970-48ec-af04-39516947f923}", Name: "Realtek HD Audio 2nd output (Realtek High Definition Audio)" 2021-01-30 00:08:09.789 INFO SOUND: 1: ID: "{0.0.0.00000000}.{3428cf60-94c4-43ef-8eb7-0739a23b1e5e}", Name: "MP59HT (NVIDIA High Definition Audio)" 2021-01-30 00:08:09.789 INFO SOUND: 2: ID: "{0.0.0.00000000}.{d6e85d1e-fefc-406e-aa67-327a6c99f0a2}", Name: "Realtek Digital Output (Realtek High Definition Audio)" 2021-01-30 00:08:14.068 INFO SOUND: Added sound path: Sounds 2021-01-30 00:08:14.085 INFO SOUNDER: Loaded 207 packed sounders. 2021-01-30 00:08:14.085 INFO Dispatcher: InitLow 2021-01-30 00:08:14.178 INFO EDCORE: Loaded D:/Eagle Dynamics/DCS World/bin/CockpitBase.dll 2021-01-30 00:08:14.763 INFO NET: Login success. 2021-01-30 00:08:16.101 INFO NET: Got auth data. 2021-01-30 00:08:16.235 INFO DCS: Successfully got authorization data. 2021-01-30 00:08:16.239 INFO Dispatcher: Loading installed modules... 2021-01-30 00:08:16.692 INFO SECURITYCONTROL: Loaded mods/tech/wwii units/dcs_module.pak.crypt autoupdate_log.txt
  12. Awesome replies! Thank you Tholozor and Foka very much!
  13. So now there is the: GBU-31(V)1/B - GP or mk84 GBU-31(V)2/B - ??? GBU-31(V)3/B - BLU109 GBU-31(V)4/B- ??? and also GBU-32(V)2/B (guessing its a 1000lb)? so what are the 2/B and 4/B?
  14. Hi all, so I have been trying to create some basic reskins from the DCS template by turning off and on certain layers to change the tail/unit designations and resave and export the files to put into their individual livery folders. So I created the 4 units 69th, 93rd, 96th and 343rd; I also used model viewer 2 to create a basic LUA file for each folder/texture but only the first folder/livery for the 69th showed up and this livery still wont let me turn off the default markings (still with the new ones underneath). I have been watching tutorials for skinning but I cannot find anything covering how to write the description.lua file to turn off the defaults. So here is what the model viewer created: livery = { {"texture B-52_Okras.bmp f2 g0", DIFFUSE , "B-52_Okras", false}; {"texture b-52_okras.bmp f2050 g0", DIFFUSE , "B-52_Okras", false}; {"texture parashut.tga f2 g0", DIFFUSE , "parashut", false}; {"texture LONGER-DAMAG.bmp f2 g0", DIFFUSE , "LONGER-DAMAG", false}; {"texture USAF.tga f2 g0", DIFFUSE , "USAF", false}; {"texture c130-fon+flag.bmp f2 g0", DIFFUSE , "c130-fon+flag", false}; {"texture nomera.tga f2 g0", DIFFUSE , "nomera", false}; {"texture BANO.tga f0 g0", DIFFUSE , "BANO", false}; {"texture BANO.tga f0 g0", SELF_ILLUMINATION , "BANO", false}; {"texture DAMAGE_All.tga f2 g0", DIFFUSE , "DAMAGE_All", false}; {"texture DAMAGE_All.tga f2050 g0", DIFFUSE , "DAMAGE_All", false}; {"texture HOLES_All.tga f2 g0", DIFFUSE , "HOLES_All", false}; } I changed all but the first two false arguments to true and it picks up the new texture but still won't turn off the default markings. Is this template just too old for 2.5 or am I just doing it all wrong? Any help is very much appreciated. Cheers, Scotty.
  15. Oh ok Thanks some1. I thought I was going mad trying to get it to function the opposite way. Although in DCS, if I don't run a script in TARGET software, the throttles are opposite to the game.
  16. I'm in the settings for the F/A-18 Sim tab. I now think its my fault as when I plugged in the throttles they were all the way forward and I keep deleting the drivers and reinstalling them but it doesn't change. I also plugged the throttles into my sons gaming laptop with windows 10 on it and that doesn't have any thrustmaster software or drivers installed and in the properties for it they were doing the same thing. I wonder if the throttles are stuffed?
  17. I have been trying the throttles in game and they are not working at all. I've been trying different settings in game for each axis but the throttles in game don't move at all.
  18. Even the paddle wheel on the right side of the throttles is displaying its axis the wrong way...
  19. I found V1.07 throttle cal tool and have ran that a few times (even deleted the throttles before running it) and its still going the wrong way :(
  20. Hi, I've just ran the update for DCS as I have not played it for a year and dragged out my Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog stick and throttles. I have updated windows from 7 to 10 about 6 months ago. I now find that my throttles have the sliders reading in reverse and I cannot work out how to get them to display the minimum digital readout (Zero) at the idle position on each throttle and the max digital position (over 65000) at max throttle position. I have tried reversing the axis in the DCS axis settings to no avail. I have tried several calibrations in the USB Game Controller window to no avail. I have tried loading up the TARGET UI software and it refuses to show the throttle axis movement on both L & R. I have restarted windows and DCS and uninstalled the game controllers in the device manager and even unplug the throttles to no avail.
