  1. You probably would, but I don't think it would necessarily solve your problem. I have just experimented with changing my number formats around and could not see any difference in the results for radio tune (although I have changed mine to radio freak). Like Oldfox, my recognition on these commands really changed when I switched from zero to 'oh'. When I use zero I get the same failed recognition as you (e.g. 126.00). If I repeat the command using oh I get 126 decimal 0 0
  2. We have both a Secretlabs Titan and a Noblechairs Icon for me and my son and I would have no hesitation recommending either. They are very well made and very adjustable. The Secretlabs has softer cushions out of the box but my Icon has been in heavey use for well over 2 years now (for both gaming and working at home) with no issues at all. The cushions have molded very nicely to me and I have got nowhere near as sticky on it in hot weather as I did with any of my previous chairs. Sent from my SM-T835 using Tapatalk
  3. I am in the UK and we use the , and . as in the US. Now you have mentioned your difference between language and settings I will have a play with the settings on my machine to see what happens. Does the issue go away if you temporarily change your locale settings to US? Sent from my SM-T835 using Tapatalk
  4. I also use Oh rather than 0. Sent from my SM-T835 using Tapatalk
  5. It is a Windows speech option - you will need to change windows to English (UK) as well for it to work. Setting Windows to recognise non-native accents is also a good move Sent from my SM-T835 using Tapatalk
  6. Are you running OB or Stable (and which patch version)? Is it standalone or steam? Which version of VA and VAICOM? For the loading issue, have you set the sliders in the Vaicom config to match your install? Sent from my SM-T835 using Tapatalk
  7. That probably means you had the setting checked at some point in the past and these are the menu entries it captured then. It is not rescanning the F10 menu now (it can't if DCS isn't loaded). When I had this i went throught the keyword list in the editor, removed the 'action list' items and then followed the Finish steps again. There is probably a better way to do it (resetting the database maybe). Sent from my SM-T835 using Tapatalk
  8. Is it appearing regularly and then disappearing on its own? If so, then look at the FAQs and try the solutions there since this is a known configuration issue.
  9. I have just retried and I think I can now get it to work reliably for me. The trick has been for me to change from saying zero to 'o' (as in the letter). I can now get it to tune to 126.00 (or any other frequency) whenever I want:D Hopefully this may also work for you
  10. Will have a try on my setup later. TBH, i just tend to jump to the back seat, tune the radio and then hop back. I have set up a couple of VA commands to move to position 2 (RIO) and back to position 1 (pilot) Sent from my SM-T835 using Tapatalk
  11. Try adding another 0 after the decimal point. If I only use one it also decides to add a 7 or 6 into the frequency Sent from my SM-T835 using Tapatalk
  12. Which plane(s) have you tried? Which version of DCS are you running, and is it steam or standalone? Do you run any mods / addons? How have you connected it with your joystick?
  13. I would e-mail support@vaicompro.com and see what Hollywood suggests
  14. It is possible that your keywords database needs a reset (this seems to have worked for some others) Sent from my SM-T835 using Tapatalk
  15. While there have been a lack of stable updates this year, that has not been the normal situation. More typical is that OB gets a patch one week and, if nothing game-breaking / significant is wrong with it, it will get transferred to stable the next week so the downloads will be roughly the same size (the OB might get a couple of hotfixes) and frequency. Having said that, it easy to switch between the 2 versions either using command line options with the DCS updater or using SkateZilla's GUI updater utility (I am away from the computer at the moment so don't have the details for either to hand). If you have not downloaded the newest patch then it will be a 0GB (or very small) download to switch from OB to stable. If you have downloaded the update the easiest thing to do is wait until the next stable release and swap at that point - with any update you have the option to not download and install it so can stick with what you currently have until next week at least to see whether stable gets the update. 16. Are you running Windows server as that seems to be the Speech recognition option you have in the drop-down list in VA.
  17. Late night flying to Judas Priest's 'Living after midnight', Disturbed's 'Sound of Silence' etc is brilliant - have had no complaints from Jester regarding choice of music either:D
  18. I would now expect it to be next week or the week after if it is in today's OB patch since they are not introducing another major upgrade to lighting AFAIK
  19. While Hollywood does support on these forums, it migyt be best in this case to use the official support e-mail (support@vaicompro.com) Sent from my SM-T835 using Tapatalk
  20. Is it possible that the trigger is timebound and has therefore disabled by the time you get there Sent from my SM-T835 using Tapatalk
  21. It was good when I tried it, but I don't need to run it so wasn't worth me changing everything around in Windows. Sent from my SM-T835 using Tapatalk
  22. There is already a scratchpad available and several people, including me, have written VA commands to send text to it. Probably not as automated as you may be thinking
  23. Weird, but then it is software - I used to programme the stuff and couldn't always work out why it was doing what it did:music_whistling:
  24. When you go into speech training you should be able to right click on the Windows microphone icon that appears and add it to the Windows speech dictionary there
