  1. The problem is their bullshit DRM... you can't direct connect you have to go thru their system it's the only thing that could be causing these issues. If i was truly direct connecting there wouldn't be an issue as i can connect to other stuff on his network. So that direct connect thing is bullshit and ED has had this problem for years. Upgrade your network or something or stop forcing people to use your system just to connect to another server. I can't believe i have spent almost $400 over time and i still have issues connecting to servers at this point im done i will not be buying anymore modules until ED stops and fixes this crap. Your network code sucks and your drm is causing connection issues. I have proof i can reach his server but the game itself won't let me.. I have wireshark captures proving this with traffic over the port for the game. The issue is the game code/drm not the network. Sent from my SM-N950U1 using Tapatalk
  2. I agree. This has been an issue since 2.0 alpha and 2.5 beta for me. Some servers just don't show up port numbers doesn't matter. Drex changed the port and still i can't connect. But i can connect to other servers using 10308 and 10310 ports. Sent from my SM-N950U1 using Tapatalk
  3. You could connect manually? I just get a server offline message when i try that. This whole problem is crazy considering it's online. Also considering i have logs and packet captures showing communication between my network and his yet the server doesn't show up or allow me to manually connect. Sent from my SM-N950U1 using Tapatalk

Tobad you can't bind the x55 thumbstick to it. I tried last night. Dcs world doesn't recognize it as an input. So back too use the software to program as a 4 way hat. Sent from my SM-N950U1 using Tapatalk
  5. I even have outputs showing a NAT connection to his server via port 80 for his website and port 10308 in my router, yet the server doesn't show up in the list, and I get a "server offline" when I try to connect by IP. Also note I made an explicit allow thru my firewall with his IP and it is tracking packets coming in from his IP obviously since I can reach his site. Yet no matter what I do including making my firewall allow any traffic any direction and all this while windows firewall is disabled his server just won't show up. I can connect to other servers fine though.

For now you need a 4 way hat for air to air weapons. You have to program guns/sidewinder/ammram/sparrow missile selects. Cause that is how it is on the f18 hotas. Maybe later they will add a cycle function but for now there isn't one implemented so you have to choose each weapon via the HOTAS function via the keyboard or bind it to a 4 way hat on your hotas. 7. No you don't I was mislead with this info too. You just need to be engine off, and have the canopy open, and be at a friendly base that has supplies for what you request.
  8. I do not know if this was because of the f18c module, but upon exit of a online server while flying the f18c my game crashed. Here is the crash dump. Hope it is helpful. :) dcs.log-20180602-192917.zip
  9. You also need to have easy communication enabled. Cause your jet has to be off, and the radios will be off. So you can't load it if easy communication is disabled. Kind of an odd situation lol. I had this disabled and had to reenable it so i could actually load bombs then start the jet... i am not sure what ED plans to do or if they even consider this a bug. 10. how is this a bug? you can check the invert box, problem solved... that is why they offer invert axis options.
  11. The only reason it should be flashing B is that you have the HUD setting for radar altitude enabled and you either A aren't belly to the ground or B above 5000 feet AGL. It's under the UFC panel and above the color display labeled "ALT". It's a switch that turns it on and off. So either turn it off(baro only) and never get your radar ALT reading on the HUD or get used to the flashing B or do what I said earlier and cycle based on need. :D :D That or you have some weird bug that hasn't been reported. Also this isn't the bug reporting section if you need to report it you will need to go here https://forums.eagle.ru/forumdisplay.php?f=594 for reporting f18c bugs. That said I would check the switch I mentioned, before you report it as a bug.
  12. to add to the above which is all correct, if you don't set the radar alt on it will just be barometric all the time and you won't see the flashing B. So if it becomes annoying during a long high flight just turn the Radar ALT switch under the HUD to Baro instead of Radar, just don't forget to turn it back on if you are close to engagement zones/plan on going low especially in IFR conditions.
  13. If you really want to know I use a mixture of ingame programming and saitek. For functions I need in all 3 modes on the same button. I program those in game saves me having to program 3 separate modes with the same exact key which isn't hard but still more involved than 1 bind. For functions that I do use separately I program that in the saitek depending on which mode does what.
  14. because the game software can't do near as much as saiteks software can especially for programming the mouse axis. DCS actually has no control over the mouse axis other than basic functions. With Saiteks software I can turn the mouse stick on the throttle into a 4 way hat which I assume is what the guy above's post is doing to do the slew of the TDC. I did this on my x52 for falcon BMS to use for the radar slew. With the Saitek software I can use 3 different modes too. so my buttons can be programmed 3 times over. this is another thing DCS can't do. I use 2 modes. TO/Landing and in flight modes personally. so I have to use the saitek software in order to do that.
  15. Don't have to be rich for that, just serious as you say. I know guys that have spent $2000-4000 on racing gear for cars stuff that are far from rich. they just save up for it. I also have a buddy who is far from rich also and spent $8000 worth of stuff for a f16 cockpit for falcon over time. just takes time and the ability to save.
