In-Game Scratchpad Mod Available - Works Great In VR!
Ala12Rv-Tundra replied to Fubarbrickdust's topic in Virtual Reality
Fully agree with U, why that thing has become that popular is beyond me, but of course I'm not a developer -
Fair enough you tried. Maybe the motors go from 0 to max value only under a certain amp value, so the threshold is very limited or virtually nonexistent, like on-off rumbling motors. The info you expect, I don´t know any device able to provide that. Maybe 6DOF platforms, but that´s a whole different animal, especially the pricetag. The arduino and rumble motors is the way we use for simracing and especially pedals for TC and ABS for example using free software SimHub, but no idea how you can transfer that to flight sims. Interestengly enough, SimHub supports War Thunder.

Youtubers and altruism is an oxymoron, the sooner you accept it, the better.

I own huey, hip and hind. What would be useful the second grip for? Because I understand it's more focused on modern airframes like apache or hkkum or Blackhawk

Question to thrustmaster F-18 stick owners
Ala12Rv-Tundra replied to Raven434th's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
It´s a toy compared to a $80.000-120.000 device like A32X stick. No idea what is the pricetag for Tomcat, Hornet,or Warthog real stick. So good luck pretending mimicking the same feeling with our toys. Realsimulator offers a "profesional" stick and base, from 9.500€. https://realsimulator.com/f16sgrh-pro/ -
Question to thrustmaster F-18 stick owners
Ala12Rv-Tundra replied to Raven434th's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
honestly, it doesn´t make any sense to compare a $200-300 toy, whatever commercial brand you want to throw in here, to the feeling of the real thing. Regarding the different A-10 and F18 sticks, yes I also own both and they feel different when swapping sticks to the same virpil base. It´s maybe for a different mass and/or center of gravity. If I can recall correctly, the Hornet stick feels lighter. -

How do I enable full-screen when using VR?
Ala12Rv-Tundra replied to ElCuco68's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Since some update I'm unable to force full screen for this 2d mirror. Somehow my performance and stuttering was better when in full screen. -

Buttkicker Pro - Optimal HaptiConnect Settings?
Ala12Rv-Tundra replied to Cobra_B39's topic in Controller & Assignment Bugs
well in all honestly, women tend to appreciate vibration devices much more than men, so go ahead. Just kidding, please don´t take it the wrong way With the buttkicker being a fantastic device, seat pads are also something to be consider. Having 8 small motors rather than a single big one like buttkicker, provide a different experience, especially the ability to have stereo left/right feelings. Grab a cup of coffee and take a look a youtube reviewers: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=nlr+hf8 https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=andre+jetseat+dcs Because pricetag is similar. -

Buttkicker Pro - Optimal HaptiConnect Settings?
Ala12Rv-Tundra replied to Cobra_B39's topic in Controller & Assignment Bugs
the buttkicker, bass shakers , jetseat or your winwing rumbling motors... none of them provide FFB. This is a whole different animal. Haptic feedback just pretend to make you feel more connected with your airframe, nothing else. I really want to clarify this, it has nothing to do like the FFB we feel on simracing wheels or your G940. Does haptic feedback improve realism? for me yes indeed, a lot. No way im flying with my devices off. -
