  1. You sound like you need the same fix that was suggested to me!
  2. Excellent thanks so much Will give that a try
  3. Hi I just got my Aero, tried the force steam vr fix above. But it gives me terrible barrel distortion, its unplayable basically world turns to jelly whenever you move your head. Anyone else have this problem & know a fix? Thanks in advance
  4. Not sure if it's been mentioned before... But I saw alot of people who had problems with distortion, said re-installing Steam VR & the Varjo software made it much better Maybe something to try?
  5. I just removed the nose seal on mine, not quite as easy to see all the stuff, but it works
  6. Ah cool I guess we will find out soon then
  7. Anyone know if this is going to work with VR? https://www.pcgamer.com/nvidia-announces-ai-powered-dynamic-super-resolution-image-scaling-technology/
  8. Mine is 832xx Wonder how long for mine........
  9. Thank you for the reply Wish I'd known before, but it didn't even cross my mind that it wouldn't work You don't know what you don't know I just remove the nose gasket from my headset. Can look down the gap no problem to see all my switches and mfd's etc.
  10. Amazing build Looks like you are using VR? How did u get the DDI's to output to the external screens when using VR? Thanks
  11. Not stupid question I take out the nose seal on my headsets, so I can see my switches. I bought the screens to make it easier to use the cougar mfd's. As you have to kind of look in & out the headset to see which Buttons to press.
  12. Hi Does anyone know if its possible to export DDI/MFD screens to external monitors while using VR? Did I just waste a load of money on screens for my cougars
  13. It works for me But if I change the setting it has no effect until I restart DCS.
  14. Awesome thanks for the tip, my headset is so much clearer now. Felt cross-eyed before. Must of also had som leftover stuff from my G2 Completely agree, finally have it dialed in now with DCS & WOW. Now if they could give us native steam vr motion reprojection. I will be one happy bunny
  15. Gives a decent boost in supported VR games from what I've read Any improvements are welcome & I guess it would be fairly minimal work on ED's part? Just wonder if DCS is too niche? Pretty please ED & Nvidia
  16. Anyone got got hold of one of the 5000 series Zen 3 cpu's yet? Was wondering if they might make big difference for VR, given DCS is quite cpu intensive Also given the supposed performance of RDNA 3 for rasterization based games, a full AMD setup might be the way forward Thanks
  17. Just wanted to say a massive Thank you to Speed Of Heat and the other members who contributed to this thread. I'd given up a bit on DCS as could never get it quite right in VR, cockpit instruments were difficult to read and perf was so so. Despite running pretty much the best hardware possible. Fast forward 6 months and WOW! The optimisations in this thread especially the sharpening method in the cockpit, in the new shaders mod. And its literally a different game, I have a crystal clear cockpit, much higher settings & pretty much double the frame rates. Mind blown
  18. My thoughts exactly Hopefully we will see some benchmarks soon, & finally be able to play in VR with decent FPS
  19. The 2080ti wasn't much of a jump over the 1080ti, its main improvements were to do with Ray tracing. The new cards look to be a big jump in both normal raster based graphics & Ray tracing. So hopefully we should see a significant jump in performance
