  1. But it was not in the update so why did you mention it? The effect is great and much needed. The more realism the better. DM will be improved too. Doesn't matter how much you have. If the problem comes from VRAM overfill you can still experience it when it fills up. Chizh explained in RU forum that it's not easy to fix as the VRAM cache is cleared with every change of view.
  2. Always watch for your wingman, never leave them behind too far. After take off don't go over 300kias, put a hold circle nearby or slowly climb waiting for the rest of your flight. Try not to go over 90-95% MIL as lead when you're all in formation. Cruise at high alt, don't speed when not necessary. When giving them orders try to keep track of them, just general SA of where they are and what they do, and whenever you deem their tasks complete wait nearby and order them to join again. Continue the flight when you all are in formation. If possible let them go to a tanker before longer mission and before longer rtb. If you hear "Bingo fuel" from anyone, let them either go to a tanker immediately or rtb.
  3. Greying effect is new indeed but the concentric vision reduction is still there, just pull more G What @SteelPig meant was that G-warm was already needed before to prepare the pilot for high G maneuvers.
  4. You can use LUV Tigr, which does have real lights.
  5. I confirm it works for other aircraft, tested in F-14 and F-15E (yeah, it still flies ).
  6. https://forum.dcs.world/topic/346730-dcs-patch-notes-discussion-april-2024/?do=findComment&comment=5412835
  7. No, Max. The assisted startup always includes the hint boxes.
  8. Of course... [https://forum.dcs.world/topic/291784-frequently-asked-questions-the-dcs-f-4-phantom-by-heatblur-simulations/]
  9. Yep, I can confirm that - any of the 3 reconnaissance loadout will not show TARPS in the mission unless reselected the pod manually. But it works on Caucasus too.
  10. Can be mounted or are actually mounted? I'm just surprised they're still in use, especially on new aircraft.
  11. If you mean HB's Reforger II then yes, it may be the case, as it is expected from Jester to lead some interceptions.
  12. Jester never STT a target uncommanded or unless scripted in a mission. You probably used one of the pilot ACM modes. https://heatblur.se/F-14Manual/general.html#acm-modes
  13. These are added in a mission - usually training aids. The "pop-up hints when you hover the mouse over the controls" are just description texts and you can control it in general settings indeed.
  14. Everybody starts somewhere. I got my first tracking device after 1-2 years of flying. Joy hat was definitely not for trimming those days
  15. Oh yes, they can: https://translate.google.com/;)?sl=auto&tl=en&op=images
  16. OK, just to show an example: You've made a bug report on Durandals. What if someone post there: "Who cares, it's not like you destroy the real airfield with real weapon. One Durandal on the runway and mission complete." See, where it's going?
  17. Don't update if it works now. Better yet block it. Who knows what else they break.
  18. Why do you think this one detail does not deserve to be fixed/corrected? Do you have a list of what should be perfectly simulated and what can be neglected or left off? I mean this is a bug - unrealistic behavior. What's in it for you to come and spoil the report? You want to remind us that it's just a computer game and it's not real? Devs wasted so much man hours for you but, believe me, there are many who appreciate every single detail simulated correctly.
  19. Looks like Iraq has been taken by ED, so my vote for... Poland Great for both WW2, CW and modern times but I prefer the latter. NATO member since 1999. Home for DCS MiG-29A and F-16C fighters, C-130*, Mi-8, plus NATO Air Policy including F-15C and E. Possible tensions around Baltic region and conflicts with the east side - Russia (Kaliningrad) and Belarus. *module WIP
  20. The guy is trying to ask about the green parts (see below). It is indeed unclear if they are always low detail - and if not - which part of the map includes which one, assuming the whole map includes them both.
  21. If you add a commander role to the mission and set "player can drive" for the units you will be able to jump between units or give them commands - you can edit any mission that way. Remember you have 2 free weeks trial for any module in DCS standalone.
  22. We're in VR bugs section and this problem was solved weeks ago in development version. No relation to F-16 or other modules. So, yes, it's management decision the patch is not out yet. I won't comment on if it's a good decision or not but your reply "Go look up how to code and that will answer your question" to a user asking about the patch is completely missed.
