  1. Thanks for the response :) I am happy, er ok, er resigned to staying with Steam for everything. I know in this case I could go via standalone as the F-15 is transferrable so all good. It was more just a question of timing for this one campaign as other 3rd party campaigns that were finished after this one have already appeared on Steam and I couldn't think of a patch or other issue that was preventing it from appearing. Perhaps I can look forward to it over the Christmas period when I will no doubt be playing it on 2.5 !

  3. Some parking bays are also not good for the larger planes in that they don't give them room enough to turn around to line up on the taxiway. Batumi for example if you start a C-130 from the parking bays closest to the runway they will get stuck midway through the turn as their turning circle is greater than the space between the bay and the edge of the apron. I fixed it in my missions by making sure any large planes taking off from the smaller airports start from the bays the greatest distance away from the runway. You can replicate it easily by starting at Batumi by putting a C-130 or AWACS or something in any of the bays closest to the runway and asking it to take off on the runway where you depart out over the water (can't remember runway #). In that case the AI has to do a hard left turn almost 270 degrees on start up and there isn't enough room and it will get stuck midway through the turn on the grass. All aircraft trying to take off behind it will run into it and slowly damage themselves until their AI pilots eject.
  4. Still broken. Played the Serpent's Head mission repeatedly on the weekend where Igla's are the main enemy air defense and never got a single launch indication. You have to be looking out the window and spot the few seconds of smoke for a launch to even have any idea a missile is inbound. Played 4 times, 0% Igla launch warning. Also not sure about the ROF , it was not unusual in that mission to see multiple missiles in the air at once yet the Igla missile tube has to be reloaded for each shot notionally it appears in public info that is a 60 second task. Although infantry are a bit abstract on the ground so perhaps the unit is representing more than one launcher?
  5. It is concerning as a new player to see an issue like this open for what looks like 1.5 years without being addressed ? There are times with the current stable release 1.5.x version unmodded when even when I know where the target is and am looking for it with the TGP you still cannot see the unit. This is particularly true for example if you position a unit in the outskirts/ground textures of a city or on the borderline between trees/open terrain. The ground unit effectively becomes completely invisible to the TGP even when you are only a short distance away. Most galling is when I can see the unit out the front of the cockpit visually but, the TGP still can't see it. You can get around it by using the mission editor and placing enemy targets only in spots where they are easily spotted and with good separation but, that sort of defeats the purpose.
