  1. In the real aircraft, all ACM modes search out to 10nm, besides boresight which searches out to 40nm.
  2. I had made this thread a long time ago : https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=207115 I believe it can answer a lot of your questions :)
  3. MPO only gives more pitch down authority, not pitch up :) When you hit the AOA limiter, having more pitch up authority would only have you depart controller flight, and this would be a suicide manoeuver.
  4. Oops, thank you, I see that now, did not search enough :) Everything is clear now, thanks.
  5. Kind of found my own answer : So the AOA indication is actually units, which seems to be completely arbitrary and airframe dependant. Interesting.
  6. General question concerning the F-15, because I have noticed that in real HUD videos, Jane's F-15, and so on... This seems to be true for all F-15 variants (C/E...) When going really fast and low, which should not need a lot of AOA in order to create enough lift for level flying, the AOA indicator shows 12°. The FPM is right under the waterline, and not far away from the gun cross. Maybe 1 to 2° under the waterline, and 3-4° maximum under the gun cross. AOA indicator still shows 12° though. Is there a reason for the AOA indication to always be so high ? Even though the FPM shows an AOA of maybe 2° under the waterline ? Thanks :)
  7. From what I remember it tells you to patrol between WP2 and 3, but it has been some time. And I guess there is not other way than already programming WP4 in your nav system, since in an FC3 plane you cannot modify it while airborne.
  8. From what I remember, the script asks you to do a CAP between WP2 and 3. You should do that. Then you get contacted and asked to go to WP4. DCS missions are scripted and you need to trigger the next step for it to move forward.
  9. The F-14 apparently did not get the full LANTIRN but the "LTS" :
  10. Maybe a GFX card overheat causing it to crash ? Did you overclock it ?
  11. You're welcome :) Took me 10 minutes to install, including running after my 2 year old taking off with my tools.
  12. Received mine ! Didn't really try it out yet, but I can already tell it is a big improvement
  13. Hi Debolestis ! Thank you for your fantastic work. I'm looking at doing that modification to the cougar I have. A couple of questions though : - Are you happy with the gimbal still ? (quality of the plastic / how does it age with the springs on it ?) - Is it a real upgrade compared to the horrible original gimbal ? (the center play / crossover is just absolutely horrible) - Is it compatible with the original electronic board ? (Your initial post says so I believe, but the picture disappeared) - Do you still have springs for this gimbal I could buy from you ? That's pretty much it. Looking forward to your answer :) Flow.
  14. Please no one replies anymore and let this thread die. This is honestly the best thing to do at this point.
  15. Perfect ! Thank you for your answer ! :)
  16. Hi Delta ! Just wondering in what batch my order is ? Number is 1154 I believe it is scheduled for a September delivery ? Just wondering :) Thank you and can’t wait to try it out ! Flow.
  17. Ordered, can't wait to throw the original garbage one in the trash :)
  18. Hi ! Great tool for training, thank you for sharing it. A little amelioration I could see : set actual ownship bearing, and "where is the bandit" question, and the user would need to answer "On my 9 O'clock" for instance. This is also an important dimension for optimal situational awareness :) Thanks !
  19. Hi Everyone ! I'm trying to get an axis trimmed when I load / launch my profile. Tried this line : MapAxis(&Throttle, ANT_ELEV, DX_THROTTLE_AXIS); EXEC("TrimDXAxis(DX_THROTTLE_AXIS, 1024);"); And also this : MapAxis(&Throttle, ANT_ELEV, DX_THROTTLE_AXIS); ActKey(EXEC("TrimDXAxis(DX_THROTTLE_AXIS, 1024);")); But to no avail. Axis is always in the middle (50%) when I load my profile, and I would like it to be at 0 (this is for TGP zooming, I then move it with trimming using two buttons). Any help is appreciated :) Thanks.
  20. What type of m.2 are you getting ? SATA or NVME ? Two very different things..
  21. Then it should display an "U"
  22. If you come up with simulations and wind tunnel testing, I’m all ears, that would actually be factual and worth discussing
  23. What about the very turbulent air flow generated by the damaged airframe, creating a lot of drag ? Is that an option in your theory ? Did you calculate it ? Simulate it ? Any formulas to share or are we going to compare youtube videos again ? You can have years of that, just re-read yourself every now and then. Fav this post. This is just discrediting you honestly. Engineer is just a title. I'm a PhD for that matter, does that make my opinion superior to yours ? The answer is no. I'll leave this here, you might recognize yourself :
  24. Yes, and what is the point of that question ?
