  1. Thanks very much - appreciate your time and responses All the very best
  2. Hi Everyone Looking for a bit of advice please, I currently use a 5120x1440 monitor as my main gaming monitor and have bought a Samsung Odyssey G32 24" monitor to act as a second monitor (to display checklists, chucks guides etc). I am using a 3080 Graphics Card with AMD Ryzen 9 3900X with 32GB DDR4 3600MHz Ram. Will this second monitor affect my performance in any meaningful way? Thanks very much for any advice offered
  3. Thank you Rudel_chw - found them now. Thank you very much indeed for your time and responding. Have saved the location text on a word doc for future reference. All the very best
  4. Good afternoon everyone I hope someone can help please I am looking to reduce the amount of official Aerges images from the manual in my kneeboard. I have tried the 'Saved Games' folder and the main DCS folder but can't seem to find where they are located. Any help would be appreciated very much. Thank you in advance for any help
  5. Hi folks - many thanks for your work on the Through the Inferno series. Just looking to ask if you could add the new Mirage F1 EE please to all maps please? Many thanks indeed and keep up the great work
  6. Not a Warthog Profile but one for an X56 that can easily be transferred. Watch from 10 minutes to 40 minutes as he goes through his settings/bindings. Hopefully of some help to you, as it was for me as I also use a Warthog and sat with a template, wrote his bindings down where I thought they should go, then looked at them all at the end and readjusted. Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but hopefully helps
  7. Hi folks Sorry to be a total noob. Been looking for a Warthog control scheme or indeed anything that shows what keybinds are needed on the HOTAS for the Mirage. I have the Mirage 2000C - is it the same layout/control scheme or something different? Many thanks indeed for any help
  8. Taz1004 - thank you very much for that explanation. That actually makes it very clear to me as to what IPD is and the issues I am having with it. Therefore, the bigger I am 'in-game' the smaller things may be. Makes perfect sense. I guess, my next question would be - then how do we adjust our aircraft to 'fit' us in VR? When I went into DCS my cockpit was tiny - therefore is there a way to increase 'World Size' so that my cockpit is larger and the 'world' also remains relative in size? Nodak - I find that also - the larger I go the less 'shimmery' things are All the best guys
  9. Hi everyone I have done a bit of searching and reading but what I havent been able to work out is if I increase the size of my cockpit via IPD, should the World Scale also increase? I have found that when I went into the cockpit it was fit for a 5-year-old and once I adjusted the IPD and went to external view my FA18 was the size of a jumbo jet as low flying made it like 10 times the size of a block of flats (apartments). Dont know if this is just the way it is, or if there is something I am not doing correctly? Many thanks
  10. Many thanks LooseSeal - that clears it up for me, appreciate it :-). Seems a bit harsh, but as you say there has already been a hullaballoo lol. Ah well, guess I just need to fork out fully for the JF17 lol. Appreciate your time in responding. Thank you
  11. Hey everyone, Sorry if this has been asked before!! I believe (but could be wrong) that all those that bought the AH64 very early would get a credit of 8000 miles added to their account because of the ddelay (or something like that). Anyways, my point is I havent received any miles yet and was wanting to put them to the JF17. Maybe ive got it wrong but I do remember seeing something about this. Many thanks if someone could clarify All the very best
  12. If it's not ready and the team feel it is not ready to release - then I am all for that. Disappointed of course, but i'd rather the module was in a position where they are happy to release it than get a module that isn't up to a particular standard. Overall, it will take as long as it takes - its not as though there is nothing else to play in the meantime :-). The Apache, when it releases, is the icing on the already delicious cake
  13. Hi folks Wondering if anyone can help please. I have just bought a 49" 120Mhz ultrawide 5120x1440 monitor. My system is a Ryzen 9 3900X, RTX 2080 Super with 32GB 3600Mhz Ram and DCS runs on an M.2 drive. Now I appreciate this is not the most powerful system in the world but does anyone have a similar setup or knowledge of how this will fare running DCS with this monitor? I was going to buy a 43" ultrawide at 3840 x 1080 however I went with the higher resolution to 'future proof' the monitor a little more knowing I was going to be pushing my current system harder but plan is to upgrade the GPU later (cant get an upgraded GPU for love nor money at the moment!!!). Also, with the monitor am I able to lower the resolution to say 3840 x 1080 or similar to increase FPS or would that just look terrible? Sorry for all the questions. Thanks in advance for any comments and suggestions
  14. I have never been so happy to throw my money at something in many a year lol
  15. Well you are doing better than me - that was the state of my mossie after my 4th or 5th landing lol. I think the moral of the story for me is ..... keep trying lol
  16. Hey Digitalvole - not sure this is any use to you and I know its not precisely what you were looking for but does give a few pointers in the meantime if you havent already seen it.
  17. I too have a Warthog and see my up/down trim working okay but left and right I have to basically turn the dial to the 7/8 o'clock position before I see any input having an effect.
  18. Great video - thank you :-). I am no engineer or mechanic/technician - but just had a thought that the gunbs may have a split second delay as they are pneumatic? I remember in the training of the Mossie it stated that guns required something like a 200 psi or something. Ot it may be a bug lol. Not sure and was just a random thought
  19. First of all I am not sure you will have 'ALL' the content for IL2 if you paid $70 total for 'every module' - as Normandy and FC2 are not on offer and have not been 'on sale' due to 'Early Access' (I know as I have them all including Normandy and FC2) - so for that price I strongly suspect you likely have most IL2 modules, but not 'every' module. Plus if you have 'every' IL2 module you will know that FC2 and Normandy have shipped with virtually zero content (no maps, no campaign, no career etc - only a few aircraft so far) and you say you bought them, so why not the Mosquito? If you don't want to buy, don't buy. If you want a trial then await a trial. Furthermore, there is, and soon will be, plenty of content for the Mosquito. For example, once Liberation is updated there you will have campaigns, there is training to do in the meantime and some missions it ships with and given the excellence of this community missions and campaigns will pop up soon too. That is not 'zero content' but comes with some content initially, with loads to come - more than Normandy and FC2 combined have shipped with in IL2 due to their very early access state.
  20. You are right - was only saying it's cheap compared to AAA games and many would agree it is one of the best warbirds. Just trying to help . This video should help regarding flight dynamics.
