For those that like the c130 idea, check out the MC130J Commando II. Latest and greatest c130 used by AFSOC. Has a gimbal that you can buddy lase with. It can also pass and take gas as well as do all the other things a 130 can do.

Yep that’s all I use. A $30 stick I got off eBay. Works great. I’ve been flying professionally for 20 years and I use FSX/PMDG products to maintain proficiency and prepare for checkrides... along with my $30 joystick. That should tell you what you need to know. The only reason I’ve been considering upgrading controls is to make weapon system manipulation easier in DCS.

Same problems here. Always wondered about this. How it works and why the hell it’s so slow. My internet connection isn’t the greatest but it’s much faster than this. Most of the time I’m down to a fraction of a fraction of 1 Mbps.
