You have to go into the Jester menu, and "check" that you've done what he said.

We won't be getting a chucks guide, but the HB manual is pretty insane.

I don't know if it makes a difference, but before AAR and landing, I go to the Jester menu, and select SPOT. He makes call-outs for me. That being said, I have checked the Jester Landing Callouts option in the Special tab, so it could just be that.

You're still doing better than most. I've got great internet, and I've been downloading JUST the F-14 for about 4 hours now. Good thing is, this day at home hasn't gone completely to waste. I've spent my time getting a bunch of stuff done around the house.

Hahaha. I got the DCS update done in no time at all, but the actual F-14 download is what is taking forever. Going on 2 1/2 hours so far just for the module itself.

I'm pretty sure my wife/RIO would stab me in my sleep if I shaved my beard. Haha. I've been crawling through the download for 2 hours now. I'm not sure why it's going so slow, since I have phenomenal internet. I am dying to finally be able to fly the sexiest aircraft to ever grace the skies. I've loved the 'cat since I was a little kid.

That was also to the OP, who may not have run the repair. As for your specific issue, I have no ideas.

Have you tried to just arm the seat, and see what happens? I'm crawling through the download, so I can't try it for myself, yet.

Try running a repair, and then try updating again?

Force update via command prompt, it's worked for quite a few people.

Did you pull a DDG and accidentally disconnect yourself from the catapult?

I thought the IRIAF skins would only be on the A?

I think it's great. I can think of SEVERAL people I'd nominate for worst DCS youtuber(s) before him. I will say that the GR guys have stepped up a lot lately.
