  1. Hi, I have understood that 2.5.6 brought encryption of all ED-produced sound files. Does this mean that it is no longer possible to use sound files from the DCS 2.5.6 package in trigger Actions? I have tried some triggers and searched the DCS folders in program and saved games folders for sound files. One of two I found was WalkingCow.wav. It’s cute but it didn´t really do the job I wanted… I would be very grateful for any advice from you, experienced pilots and mission programmers. I use DCS 2.5.6 OpenBeta.
  2. Thanks! I guess ground crew should work then, for repairs, fuel and ammo.
  3. Using preset radio channels As a beginner in multiplayer and Burning skies, I wonder how to communicate through the preset radio channels. In my case it's a Spitfire stationed at Beny-sur-mer. I have tried all the channel buttons, trying to reach ATC and Ground crew, thinking one of them was set in mission editor to Beny-sur-mer 118.65, but no success. Please help:).
  4. Yes, looks like frosted glass and disappears in 2.1.1 when deferred shading is turned off.
  5. Defered shading has been turned off for some time, but zooming in a bit helped. Thank you razo+r!
  6. Well, to be honest my talk about ‘glowing’ might be a bit exaggerated. I can see that trying to find examples. But I do find a difference in visibility of the instrument readings from my own experience compared to some of the videos. I give you some examples below. at 0:50 compared to this, which is more like what I usually get. at 1:00 Read something about the labels and instrument needles being painted with radioactive material to ‘glow’. Razo+r, I will check my texture setting. Thank you both for your attention to my problem!
  7. I often find Labels and instrument needles hard to read. This causes big trouble especially when landing, trying to keep track of speed. In many videos on YouTube, the needles and labels glow, crisp and clear, even in bright sunlight. Is there a cure for this problem? It would make flying so much easier!
