  1. Now all is clear...Thanks for Your help
  2. How do I set up ILS in Cockpit......Must it be more than ILS FQ and RH....??
  3. So I it's a different procedure compared to Stable if You will make ILS in Open Beta Thanks for Head-Up
  4. I made approach Runway 13 VAZIANI CP:135,5 PD 3,0 ILS 108,75..... ATC gave me heading 160 to Intecept Localizer... On HSI indications was fully correct No deviation line in HUD When APP was activated, A/P ON the Aircraft turned away from localizer This type of approach works fully correct in Stable but is a disaster in Open Beta exept Traning approach
  5. Strange that wind shall trigger use of ILS....InstrumentLandingSystem is used to facilitate landing in Instrument condition and that is low visibility , Foggy/Hazy cinditions often have winds below 6 knot so in this case You can't use ILS when You really need help for a safe landing Can anyone explain this logic for me pls......??
  6. I can't understand that wind shall determine use of ILS............... 1. You use ILS to land when visibility is below limit for landing with visual references 2. With strong tailwind not allowing direct landing with help of ILS You use ILS for breaking clouds followed by Circling Approach 3.You also make ILS landings for training purpose in order keep up Yuor skill I have sent several posts about this but it seems that my post is difficult to understand
  7. WHO is responsible for this ILS set-up when the wind shall trigger ILS ON of OFF......?? The ILS system is used go assist in landing where weather hinders visual approaches like Haze, Fog and Low visibility Wigh strong tailwind you also use ILS för breaking clouds for end up with Cicling Approach. You also make ILS approaches in clear sky for training purpose..... You have now a wind limit deciding if I can use the ILS system which is not used out there IRL where VISIBILITY/RVR IS THE LIMITING FACTOR JUST TRY TO FIND A PILOT NEXT TIME TO STOP YOU MAKE NOT-SO-CLEVER SET-UPS IN THE FUTURE AND REMOVE WIND LIMIT IN YOUR PRESENT UPDATE.... 9. After last update the ILS works Very Good.....Next step is to allow ILS approaches independent of wind speed......With this situation You are unable to make a safe landing wth low visibility f.ex Haze/Fog with wind close to 0 kts Pls look again at my previous notes Hope You understand why I am trying to explain this strange ILS set-up
  10. Not är all.....The strange thing is that ATC decides if ILS shall be activated based on wind......The ILS shall be used för direct landing if wind permits or via circling procedure landing on opposite runway as it is used as normal procedure IRL
  11. I Read the sicky post regarding dcs strange logic regarding wind/ ILS and that explained everything............
  12. I doesn't work for me in OPEN BETA but works perfectly in STABLE for me Must be some issue in my M-2000 as everybody above make perfect OpenBeta Approaches
  13. Doesn't work......Made ILS Training on Open Beta but NO DASHED LINE AT ALL In Stable Everything worked OK
  14. Tested to make ILS approaches in Open Beta in Syria and Caucasus When activating approach the A/P turns away from Localizer Info needed
  15. LED-LJUS and FORM-Ljus are the Wing and Fuesaage lights to keep it brief I really like the Landing Lights so now no problem to fly around-the- clock missions mostly Anti-Ship and BK-90..... Still problems to use RB-75 in dawn but that will also be fixed I hope,,,,,,
  16. Night Vision is a fake Add-On..... Dont't try Short-Cuts.....Make changes the proper way
  17. It is Nice to fly Viggen in Night Operation With no Landing Lights You can always land on Taxiways if Runway Lights are off Taxiways have nice Blue Edge lights like Senaki Kolki In Caucasus CK37 lights are hard to read but no problem with Try-And-Error Radar works with filter (Thanks for the tip my Friend) The attached picture of Anti-Collision Light speaks for itself With next Viggen Change Log and everything will be just fine......
  18. Try a Night Mission in Viggen and You will get the answer
  19. Question: Have You promised to finish up the Viggen ?
  20. Regarding BK90 You can set approach altitude up to 500 m barometic altitude in approach phase then in attack the BK90 uses Radio height,, 91500 in TAKT is 500 m Barometic Height then in 5 km from target attack height is 60 m radio Height
  21. If they fix the light system all will be happy
  22. I don't think it is a good idea to use BK90 to for pop-up targets and use Bx as target point. You have to define target type for set-up release mode and you must define barometc pressure in target for the best area of effect and use M as target. Best is Pre-Flight planning . Thanks for info regarding the use of Bx guidance in multiple RB04 attacks......everyday you learn something..:)
