  1. Yep, given the Normandy experience, they are a very frustrating dev, but this bug is probably one line of code and a 5 minute job!
  2. Why is this not being addressed by Ugra? Have we even had a response on this very annoying issue? Same problem with Mariana Islands, but at least @NineLineis looking into that.
  3. A couple of months on, what's the progress on this? Still doesn't work. Same with the Syria map for me. The 'normal' folder, e.g. E:\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\terrains\MarianaIslands\Kneeboard just doesn't work. I've got the usual airfield data in there, but it just doesn't show. Caucasus, The Channel, Normandy, Persian Gulf and NTTR all OK.
  4. Thanks a lot for this. However, I can't get them to work in Syria and Mariana Islands. I drop them into the usual place, e.g. E:\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\terrains\MarianaIslands\Kneeboard, but nothing shows. The 5 other maps work OK. Any ideas?
  5. Out of interest, what does the batch file do?
  6. All part of the same issue.
  7. Yep, that would seem like a good plan.
  8. I mean not turning settings down so much that you are seeing 90fps. That’s too much. All I know is that I am on a fairly solid 45fps with little ghosting in side views at low altitudes. However, if I crank up SS or other demanding settings, then I do see ghosting in these circumstances.
  9. He’s got HAGS off, Don. We checked that a long way back.
  10. I can’t explain why, but it’s not always about frame times. If you turn down your SteamVR SS, MSAA, shadows, etc., do you still see ghosting?
  11. I did. I hope it works for you. Personally, I feel the double image you see when looking out the side view is just your system being over stressed. But, I hope I’m wrong for your sake!
  12. Make life easier for yourself and use a mod manager to do all the install/uninstall work. My preference is Open Mod Manager.
  13. Yep, all my issues were present in Blocks and Visualiser. I came to the conclusion that none of the issues were down to DCS. I’m particularly interested in the post above that suggests a hardware update for that reason.
  14. Newest hardware? Leap Motion? Has their been a revision in the last week or so?
  15. Virpil haven't sold the CM2 for a while now. Where did you order it from?
  16. Pretty sure that’s not a bug. I guess it’s because fpsVR takes its info from SteamVR’s Motion Smoothing/Reprojection which the VP2 doesn’t use.
  17. Very similar to mine. Not sure this report tells us anything useful.
  18. It’s a SteamVR system report, not Vive.
  19. I’m not sure either, but it looks like a number in several categories - x/1, y/2, etc. - showing where there has been some kind of performance drop. I have small numbers - some zeroes - and you have much bigger ones. Probably confirms the issue, I guess. But, it is only a guess.
  20. Significant difference in performance drops.
  21. I always run the latest nVidia drivers. Never seen any of them make any difference whatsoever!
  22. It's all very strange. We have almost the same settings, although I run at 90% and you are at 80%, and we have the same basic hardware, yet you see double images and I don't. Can't explain it, sorry.
  23. You're running at 80% SteamVR SS, so that should be OK, and all your SteamVR settings are the same as mine. I just can't explain why you are having issues. Your DCS settings are similar to mine except for a few. Try Terrain Textures at medium, Shadows at low, and Cockpit Global Illumination at OFF. Probably will make no difference, but these are the only differences between your and my DCS settings.
  24. Sure, but it should be at 60 most of the time.
