  1. For the purposes of cockpit building, could you please add separate keyboard commands for each digit on both the Mode 1 (10s and 1s) and the Mode 3 (10s and 1s) selector switches. Thanks
  2. All I can tell you is this, I've been flying VR for 2 years now. I went from an Oculus Rift, to the Rift-S and now to the G2 Reverb. I cannot fly now without my VR headset. Going from track-ir to VR was like going from nothing to track-ir. I cannot fly with track IR anymore. VR makes THAT much of a difference for me. So I hope that helps.
  3. I tried this but its not working correctly. The power switch will move in the cockpit, but the ECM panel does not receive power. Only if I switch it on with the mouse will the ECM panel actually turn on. I suspect the same thing is happening with the XMIT switch. So looks like we need to wait on ED after all.
  4. Where exactly can I find a list of all unofficial mods that are installed? I can't remember 1/2 the stuff I have installed. I've had the same install for years now.
  5. I can do that, but please google this issue and you will find plenty of posts about this issue in various forums. I don't run the steam version btw, I only use steam for VR.
  6. dcs.log My specs: I7 9700K, 2080 TI, 32 GB Memory, 1TB Samsumg Evo SSD. G2 Reverb Headset. dcs.20211123-184429.crash
  7. I flew a multiplayer mission on Inferno NTTR after. Is my current .log file valid or do I need to recreate the crash first? I also have .dump and .crash files. Do you want those as well?
  8. This happens anytime I try to load into the Syria map. 100% of the time. SP or MP. Using a G2 Reverb with WMR beta version. Settings don't matter. Works with all other maps in SP and MP. As of now I cannot fly on the Syria map.
  9. You can do it either way, personally I find it much easier to boresight on the ground.
  10. Hello Cheva, JTP-191 is primarily a coop group. We fly vs. the AI most of the time, which does include BVR engagements, BFM and ACM. We do occasionally practice pvp A/A within the 14th, but it is not a primary focus for our squadron. Hope this answers your question! Datajack
  11. @Steph21 See this post for lua code that will add this functionality:
  12. Thank you to BIGNEWY and all the developers for their hard work!
  13. Hi all, Not sure how many of you are familiar with an old 80s movie called The Last Chase. There is an F-86 in the movie that has a really cool paint job. I've been looking for that livery for the DCS module with no luck. Does anyone know if anyone has made one? Attached is a picture of the livery. Thanks!
  14. Seem this is most likely due to another bug that has been around for a while. See this thread: https://forums.eagle.ru/topic/258729-aim-120-aim-7mh-sd-10-produce-0-hit-chance-against-non-manuevering-hot-target-with-blinking-ecmchaff/
  15. Excellent thank you for verifying that.
  16. I'm wondering if there's anyone on the forums familiar with the real jet that can verify if the block 50 DCS is modeling has the correct IFF panel? Looking at unofficial sources (for example xflight.de) seems the IFF panel in the DCS F-16 is the old block 25 MLU panel. Seems the block 50/52 has the AUX COMM panel which has the TACAN selector instead. Again I don't have any official sources. Just wondering if the DCS F-16 has the correct panel for the block 50 and where I can confirm that if possible. I'm going to build a full F-16 cockpit, so just making sure. Thanks!
  17. I didn't see the MK-20 on the list of planned munitions. Any word on these?
  18. Try this: TMS aft until you see SP if it's not visible. Then click SP, then TMS Up or right (point or area track) and finally slew the TDC cursor up.
  19. Well just out curiosity I found the T.O. GR1F-16CJ-1 manual and checked. There is a Cockpit Interior Check. Now this does not specify what the knob/switch positions should be before you enter the cockpit, it just tells you where they need to be before you move on to the next phase (AFTER COCKPIT CHECKLIST IS COMPLETE - VERIFY). Focusing on the items I listed, in this list it shows: Left Console: 13. ENG FEED knob - NORM 15. IFF MASTER knob - STBY 16. CNI Knob - BACKUP 25. COMM 1 power knob - CW 26. COMM 1 mode knob - SQL 27. COMM 2 power knob - CW 28. COMM 2 mode knob - SQL Right Console: 9. AIR SOURCE knob - NORM To your point the list seems to say "If these knob/switches are not in these positions, them set them to these positions". This seems to be the case because the AFTER LANDING checklist only specifically specifies the following: 6. IFF MASTER knob - STBY 7. IFF M-4 CODE switch - HOLD And then PRIOR TO ENGINE SHUTDOWN you have: 5. CNI knob - BACKUP And the AFTER ENGINE SHUTDOWN you have: MAIN PWR to OFF OXYGEN REGULATOR to OFF an 100%. There is no mention of the ENG FEED knob, AIR SOURCE or COMM knobs during any checklist from After Landing to after engine shutdown that I can find. Currently on cold start in DCS you have CNI knob on UFC, IFF MASTER on OFF, and M-4 CODE switch on A/B. So it may only be justified for ED to change these to CNI knob to BACKUP, IFF MASTER to STBY and M-4 CODE switch to HOLD. Phew well that was an exercise....
  20. When did I ever say that what I asked for had any backing? I am not a real F-16 pilot so how would I know? This request is personal. I flew the other F-16 sim for many years and this was part of the startup. Its just what I'm used to from past sim experience, and because I did that for so long it just feels unnatural for those switches to already be set. This is why its in the wish list forum.
  21. It would be nice to have an option to have switches in random positions for sure. Randomization should be for all airframes. But as far as default cold start I really want to see the changes I mentioned above. If they want to add an option for randomization later I'm all for it.
  22. The following should be off on cold start: Fuel panel: fuel selector OFF Air cond panel: air source OFF All audio 1 and 2 knobs off. IFF panel: C&I should start on Backup Would love for this to be implemented thanks.

  25. This happened to me couple of days ago on our training server. I fired 4 harms at 4 different targets. 3 hit, and one missed high. It exploded above the target but did no damage.
