  1. Not mentioned yet, F-16 and basically all helicopters actually. Don't remember about FC3 in general, while the Su-25T has the Mercury pod. Jf-17 I'm sure. The Harrier is called AV-8B Night Attack... Think that's all. Combined arms. The F-5 has a very cool night mission included, but I don't remember if it actually has NVGs as you don't use them in that mission. This goes for a lot of other modules. You can successfully use them at night even if they don't have "night sensors. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  2. I do agree that your problem won't be fixed with an upgrade, while this thread is about DCS crashing, not stuttering. My computer is from 2013, well, except the GPU now. I have now basically maxed out every setting. Even set shadows to ultra. I have no stuttering at all and double the FPS I had. The Marianas are now playable for me, and I can finally play Paradise Lost which I bought years ago. Like I wrote, when 2.9 landed I could start DCS without any errors except some shader errors, but starting any mission would crash with a shader compiler error. That's now gone even when DCS should support my GPU. OP even has an older and "lesser" GPU. I just connect the dots. They aren't even "supported" with new NVIDIA drivers anymore, so I expected this at some point. That's just the way it is with hardware and computers. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  3. Not really a problem! But I did notice that the Ikarus Sabre profile was very good, and better than what I see in Helios. [emoji4] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  4. Yeah, me too! Very handy! [emoji1303] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  5. Of course you can! Just need two computers and run multiplayer! (Apologies! Couldn't resist!) [emoji1] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  6. It just means that it will be automatically setup for the F-16 module, and you won't have to do anything the first time you connect it. You already have set it up, so it doesn't apply to you. [emoji6] Huge applause to Razbam and the great housing departments in the South. Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  7. @Rad_Active Sure, you must set the throttle as a slider in the axis tune. The throttle goes from 0-100. Not from negative to positive like with a stick. Same goes for collective, brakes, volume knobs etc. Think of it like a dimmer. Cheers!
  8. Sure! I decided to wait until today because I sensed a potential patch coming. [emoji4] Well, just had supper and DCS is patched, so I'll get on with it now, after I've made sure everything is running. I had a brief look at JSGME several years back, but I soon transitioned to OvGME. When Open Mod Manager surfaced I jumped ships again, because I rather use an app that is still developed and patched. OMM is made by Sendenion, which also made OvGME. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  9. Ahh! I see! I have been playing with those, while I never understood the difference. With today's faster computers, do you think there is a way to make them more or less real time? Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  10. I had a GTX Titan, (780), and DCS would crash whenever I started a mission while compiling shaders. I could see this in realtime, because I use a live log monitor tool to monitor the DCS.log I'm afraid you need to revert back to 2.8 or get a newer GPU, or wait for a fix. I was lucky enough to score a second hand RTX 2080Ti for a fair price, and that solved it for me. [emoji2373] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  11. Do you have "sync with HOTAS..." enabled? It seems to me that some switches are in the wrong/opposite position when starting a mission, so I have to click or use a keybind to "sync" the position correctly. (Some ED modules like the Huey also suffers from this with some switches). Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  12. No curves, and for sure no deadzone! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  13. Try to rename your Saved Games folder. If it starts then, there is some error/corruption inside it. You can find out what, by copying the folders back one by one. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  14. Seems i misread your OP. You should definitely get both pilot voice and text even if you use incorrect PTTs. Only thing I can think of is some incorrect modifier like a hold mode instead of a toggle, but then again, you should not get the radio menu. Can you post a screenshot, so we can see which radio the menu uses? I mean, just press prtscrn when the menu is up. Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  15. @Taz1004 Which modules don't you have? Have you considered setting up a Patreon or something, so we can donate? Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  16. Thanks! I'll guess I need to test it a little more! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  17. You missed my point entirely, and I guess your mechanic charges you by the hour no matter if it's actually a problem or not, so he's happy. Your wallet my not be. [emoji2373] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  18. In any case. Does it have as much fuel as the previous version? If it's correct that's fine, it seems I can't fill as much as before, at least in the cRefuel Fight Recover" QS mission for the Tomcat. Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  19. @Mjm8710 Can you open a command window, and type in "wmic computersystem get model", press enter and type in the result here? Some laptops, like @Flappie and @draconus wrote, has dual GPUs, and one needs to switch to the more powerful one manually. Sometimes after updates, it might have reverted to the Intel one. Cheers!
  20. So, if you have an issue with your car, you're just happy to drop it off at the garage and leave it there for all eternity, instead of just showing the mechanic in a couple minutes what is wrong? I guess time is not one of your concerns then. Good for you! [emoji1303] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  21. Well, in that case: Make a shooooort mission where one can easily reproduce immediately, exit mission, click save track, and name it/the file accordingly. Find the file in Windows Explorer. Drag and drop the file here. Click post. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  22. Crossing my fingers! [emoji1695][emoji1303][emoji1635] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  23. There is a bug in DCS with AI helicopters taking off. It's already acknowledged and fixed internally. Fix will be released in next patch. Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  24. That's just not true! @AeriaGloria is just as interested to fix any potential bug there is as you. And I don't understand why you and @RedBjorn won't provide some tracks if this is so easy to replicate? [emoji2373] It saves time for everyone, because then it doesn't have to be replicated multiple times by multiple people, and there will be proof for ED. Don't you guys notice how much of his own free time @Flappie puts into our hobbies, and how many bugs he's helping to report to ED, and how many of them are returned with a "fixed in next patch". You guys are just doing yourself a disservice when ED has to put in efforts to start from scratch and replicate it, when they can spend a couple of minutes checking a track. Well, you do yo I guess. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  25. Helios does make it easier to export View ports IMHO. It's drag and drop, and also writes "patches" for viewports that are "missing" and new names so you don't get conflicts. It will also tell you about conflicts, but I guess that's a thing of the past now. I use Ikarus too for some modules. Some of the instruments looks way better. Do you know how to tweak the refresh be be "realtime". That's my main concern for both solutions. Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
